The Japanese equivalent of Chuck the plant, also known as Cactuer, Kaktor, Qactuar, Qactaur, Sabotender, and Cactrot are human like cactuses that pop up all over the place and are supposedly originated from the Final Fantasy series(?). According to wikipedia, they have appeared in Final Fantasy VI-XII, Final Fantasy: Unlimited, Crystal Chronicles, Dirge of Cerberus, Chocobo Racing, The Bouncer, Kingdom Hearts Series, Mario Hoops 3-on-3 and Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime. But on my recent run trough the Suikoden series, I encountered this: So, know of any other appearances?

Good find though. I read about Chuck for the first time about a year ago, and immediately thought if it could have a relation to Cactuar. Apparently it does. I don't know what wikipedia says about it, but if I remember right Chuck appears in some Lucas Arts games (with Monkey Island's pirate Le Chuck being named after him).

Makes sense considering Maniac Mansion, with Chuck's first appearance, was a Lucas Arts game.

I know I'm a total dork for being on Gaia but whatever they have a potted plant that looks like a Cactuar. There used to be a website devoted to Cactuars and had pics of some crazy Cactuar stuff like the Cactuar Guitar.

No Brand, you are not a dork at all. Actually... you look really cute on that pic. Would you go out with me on a cyber date?
