Hi. I'm Blinky. My friend snaked your site on my favorites and I'm (by and large) hooked. It's even given me enough drive to TRY some of the games you've mentioned (Darkstalkers was good times.)
ANYWHO, what about those two up yonder? Three very good games... possibly two articles (one on Wasteland, Fallout, and Fallout 2 and one on Arcanum... or maybe just the Troika team in general.)
I'd write an article but I'll be damned if it ever got done... I can't write when I need to or I'd do it...
Anyway, great site and all. I see... and I am here.

Someone should do this. Fallout is one of the best games ever made easily. Surpassing Wasteland only by having a (slightly) more intuitive interface.

You can't forget Fallout Tactics, which was an underrated sequel, as well as the PS2 Fallout that came out some time ago.
Great games indeed; it was one of the first games that I played that was open ended and let you play how you wanted to (kinda late to PC games, and not many console games, if any, did that at the time).
I have Arcanum, but it was one of those games which I got but never got around to actually playing. It's really too bad, because the setting really appealed to me.

Fallout Tactics and Brotherhood of Steal are slandered a lot it's true but part of the critisism is generally quite fair. Neither are really worthy of being included as part of the Fallout series because of what they do, sure combat in Fallout is fun but it should never have had an entire game based around it..same with the Brotherhood of Steal sure it's cool but really it's a major fall from grace for Fallout.
The first two titles are both magical because they offer freedom, the later two were on rails to the extreme.
I too Love/Hate Arcanum in much the same manner I Love/Hate Troika so much potential and always always botching it up. The games still fun but it's got a lot of nagging bothers. An article would be fine and dandy although Fallout is a bit of a well known game so you might have to write that differently then normal. Totally loved Bloodlines though, I'm a sucker for good vampire games as much as I for a good horror game.

I'm only doing the Fallout series, and a little bit of speculation about Fallout 3.
