That video cord only goes one way, you'll need something like a capture card or a TV-in port to do that.

Are there any screen capturing programs that capture screens from other things plugged into the monitor besides the computer (such as a console)? Yes, as long as the image is shown on the computer monitor you can take whatever snapshots you want. aldostools.com/vgscapture.htmlThere is a program by Aldo to capture video too. It's free and super easy to use. You obviously have to have your computer plugged in too since there would be no way to actually take the screens without it.

Genesis and Sega Master System are taken care of.
I forgot to ask about TurboGrafx-16 emulators that take screenshots. Are there any with low system requirements?

Magic Engine is the way to go.
However you need to register for full functionality. You can only play for five minutes at a time. There's a way around this though - just save a state then immediately reload it to reset the timer.

The MagicEngine team actually mentions this in a note under the download, so you wouldn't anger anybody by saying that on their forums...I think.

I forgot to ask if there are any Atari LYNX emulators that take .png format screenshots. Handy takes them in .bmp and the file sizes are huge. I can convert them to .png with MS Paint, but the file sizes stay the same.

I just started having a rather strange problem.
ZSNES is taking GREEN TINTED screenshots. Is there anything I can do about this?

Download the last zsnes version or delete your ini/cfg files. It shouldn't doing that.

Ok, ZSNES is working. Still no luck with a decent Atari LYNX emulator.

Definitely weird, PNGs should be much smaller than bitmaps. Are you sure you're converting them right? Or maybe Paint just isn't very good at it. If you submit pics like these, just let me know and I'll see about reconverting them.
Handy is the only emu I've used for Lynx stuff.

Are .gif images ok? I took a bunch of screenshots that I forgot to convert from .gif files to .png files. If needed I could go back and do it again.
