You're missing Warriors of Fate's prequel, Dynasty Wars.

Those are the ones called "Tenshi wo Kurau", right? That ended up on the NES/Famicom as RPGs? (I think it was called Destiny of the Emporer here?)

Yep, both Destiny of an Emperor and the sequel (Japan only) are also called Tenshi wo Kurau.
And there is also one for the Game Boy.

You're missing Warriors of Fate's prequel, Dynasty Wars. I wouldn't consider Dynasty Wars to be a Final Fight clone. It has forced scrolling and the player remains on a horse the entire time. I guess it's beat 'em up of sorts, but nothing like FF. The Marvel & XMen SNES games are also a bit of a stretch, as they are both single plane and have platforming elements. They also have a greatly simplified move list. Button mashing mayhem is the order of the day. Both are great games though. The rest of the games on the list are all cut from the same mold, and I don't think you missed any. Some of the best beat 'em ups ever right there.

Is Chaos Legion a beat 'em up?
On an unrelated note: if shoot 'em ups are called "shmups", should beat 'em ups be called "beamups"?

does Beatdown : Fist of Vengeance count? or Avengers, the top-down vertical scrolling beat-em-up?

Beatdown : Fist of Vengeance was not made by Capcom, and Chaos Legion is more like Devil May Cry (sort of) than a beat-em-up. Call it "hack 'n' slash" or 3-D action or whatever.
