Here's a silly inquiry.
At any point when playing games do you get that little tingle feel? I'm afraid I do. Mostly when the music reaches an intense point while a climactic event or boss fight, what have you is going on.
For example: The Pile Driver sequence from Boktai comes to mind as well as the last boss of R-type Delta.
So how about yourself. What gives you that tingly feeling (If at all, maybe I'm just a nutjob.)
And s70n3dg4m3r, nothing about drugs. Please.

LOL at the end there. Naw you're not alone. Once in a while I'll get a chill here, a chill there. It's more subtle though, rarely is it an "actual" chill -- it's moreso mental than it is physical. It's the moments you live for when you're playing games... to get swept up in those awe-striking, warm-fuzzy moments

I never actually get a tingly feeling, but I often find my hands sweating a lot when I hit an area that I've never been to. Well, not just any area. The area usually has to be towards the end of the game.

I'm not sure if I'm 100% clear on what you're talking about, but I do have a vague idea.
I wouldn't call it a "tingly feeling", more of a feeling of awe or foreboding. For me, it's a very atmospheric thing. The visuals, music and sound of the sequence in question has to be in perfect synch and the mood has to be just right. Instances I can think of this happening quite profoundly are;
Breath of Fire II: Mostly near the beginning.
Final Fantasy VI: The opening and the first few segments in the World of Ruin.
Chrono Trigger: Those first few moments of the game as Chrono wakes up, when you first get to 2300 AD, when you get to 12000 BC, and when Frog fights Magus.
Super Metroid: 90% of the game gives me this feeling because it's so absorbing. My favorite part is probably when you think Crocomire is dead and then his skeleton surfaces out of the lava and attempts one last attack.
Demon's Crest: The underwater ruins.
Diddy's Kong Quest: The haunted forest stages.
Dixie Kong's Double Trouble: The underwater stages.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night: Quite a few moments in this game. Namely the caverns and the marble gallery.
Final Fantasy VII: 90% of the game. FFVII was so moody and atmospheric.
Breath of Fire III: The part leading up to the end of Ryu's childhood when he's about to fight Garr, and the first few hours of the "10 years later" chapter.
Xenogears: When Fei first turns fully into Id, when you first get to Shevat, when you first dive into Lacan's past.
Metal Gear Solid 2: When Ocelot first appears and offs GRU.
ICO: Just about the entire game.
Resident Evil (GC): When you go outside into the trail leading to the shack outside the mansion.
Metal Gear Solid 3: The final showdown with The Boss.
Metroid Prime: 90% of the game. Just about everywhere in the Chozo Ruins and Phendrana Drifts.
Dreamfall: Most of the game, especially the slums and when you first get to the fantasy realm.
Ninja Gaiden (XBox): The chapel, the catacombs, especially when you're about to fight the skeleton dragon.
Baten Kaitos: When you realize that your own main character has been playing you the whole time.
Skies of Arcadia: When you fly through Zalua just before you lose Drachma, when you fly into the Dark Rift.
Okami: When you first restore the Shinshuu Plains, when you get to the northern territories.
Twilight Princess: When Ordon first becomes twilight. When you get to the ice region.
Shadow of the Colossus: The whole damn game.
Yeah, that about covers it..

revolver:those are more like moments where you are in awe of the game. they are talking about those moments when you get so excited you feel electrified. like when a certain music piece reaches that point that you like a lot or when something just beautiful happens, like when you revive your first life tree in okami and everything comes to life.

Most recently - and I know it's stupid - but in Zelda Twilight Princess, I skipped a beat whenever I jumped off the huge waterfalls. Just the scale of the area was amazing, and while I knew I was going to be fine and end up in the water, there was always a part of me that thought I would die or something.

I always get far too worked up when it's time to slay the final boss of anything. The music amps up and my blood boils and I feel godlike. I want to conquer and beat them as if they were real and their offenses were real crimes. And when it's all over I feel tired from the adrenaline rush. I don't think I'd enjoy gaming half as much as I do if it didn't envoke such emotions in me at times.

Definately know what you're on about, sometimes the music in a game is just right, with a near-perfect boss. Your character is ready to fight and so are you..games like Devil May Cry, Advent Rising and Zone of the Enders (2) really have that effect on me..though often it's more so with the cutscenes. This scene from Devil May Cry I don't care how cheesy and lame some people think it is fighting through to that point only to have everything nearly fall apart was really a moment.

Whenever I hear music that I really like, I get this slight tingly feeling, I got the same feeling in some games.
Another thing, I get afraid of heights in some games, like when I jumped off that really high tower in Okami, and I didn't stop falling for a few seconds.

The Final Mission music in Metal Slug 1 and 3.
In Ocarina of Time, the part where Ganon hovers in the air and the music changes from no music to really intense music.

Beating Xaero on Hardcore in Quake III: Arena (I just did this a few days ago). Jak II is also filled with these moments, especially during the boss battles.
EDIT: Even more so then the boss battles are the racing segments. Those things are so intense I literally start shaking.

I remember when I used to play UT2k4 alot, I never cranked up the difficulty on bots, but instead activated a speed mutator and doubled the game speed. It got better when I came across the Excessive Overkill mutator.

Fighting Hibachi on DoDonPachi Dai-Ou-Jou. Mostly due to the bgm, but also the fact that it's so damn intense. I also got it when I first walked out into Quatera Woods on Ys VI. Again, thanks to the music.
Also, fighting Elvis' demon form in God Hand. Part of it was the demonic sounding music mixed with "bung-abung-abung", but also that Elvis seemed like a fat joke, but here he is now, as a badass looking demon.
