For my upcoming Captain Novolin article, I need help doing the unspeakable; that is, I need help ripping the game's soundtrack. I lack technological skills and fancy music-ripping equipment, so could somebody help me with this?
Whoa, whoa, don't everyone jump up at once now.

There actually happens to be an SPC formatted soundtrack for the game at www.snesmusic.org/v2/profile.php?profile=set&selected=505To rip it to MP3's for our consumption, then all you need to do is set up an SPC plugin for Winamp (SNESamp ought to work nicely), then set the output plugin to Nullsoft Disk Writer and convert it to MP3 using a program like WinLAME. If you need more details, I'd be happy to fill you in (once I've got some sleep...it's like two in the morning =P).

I have used OggDropXPD (yes, OGG is good), and RazorLame. Haven't tried out the one munchy mentioned, but RazorLame lets you easily use the current LAME executables (granted they're like a year old anyway).

Thanks for your help. The process has gone smoothly, and now people will be able to suffer through the Captain Novolin soundtrack.

I'm not sure if I should feel honored or ashamed to have taken part in this =P
