Believe it or not, that's Ian Gillen, singer from Deep Purple. So it's definitely an English speaking guy. He just sounds a bit...odd.

What. I am shocked at that... I mean, I was listening to it and thinking, "This guy's English is good for a Japanese guy." Wow, I dunno what to say now.

Lunar 2: Eternal Blue probably has my two favorite vocal songs ever.
Some of the ones in Rhapsody are pure guilty pleasure.
Marjoly she's the evil beauty We'll bow down to you eternally!

Three pages and no mention of Silent Hill? Sheesh. Joe Romersa and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn (credited as Melissa Williamson)? Waku Waku 7? Matrimelee? I second the vote on Violent Storm, though. That's freakin' hilarious. Also hilarious are certain songs on the Shenmue soundtracks. Like Joy's theme.
I personally intensely dislike Otherworld, but that's mostly because it's completely ill-fitting to the soundtrack as a whole. I don't like it as a song, but that's a more personal opinion.

Because of my God Hand obsession as of late, I'm going to put in a bid for the ridiculously cheesy and brilliant end theme song. It sounds so much like something that would be in an 80's cartoon or something of the sort. C'mon, just try to stay stone-faced as you hear "Dragon Kick your ass into the Milky Way" or "More beheadings than a Guillotine - Head Slicer" and all of that.
My arm my arm MY ARM MY ARM MY ARM MY ARM SUMMON UP THE POWER OF THE GOD HAND!!! ;D ;D ;D

Faselei! had a song in the intro. I always thought it was really cool to have it in a handheld at that time. Come to think of it, I really enjoyed the game... maybe I should write an article about it ? Clay Fighter had semi-lyrics. Lunar had a sung theme.Waku waku 7 has Arina's stage.Marvel vs Capcom had Roll-chan's theme. What else... Killer Instinc, Rondo of Blood, Medabots for GBA... Those are the ones I can remember right now.

Capcom vs SNK 2 has that one rap song on the level with Johnny Beer in the background.

I haven't played CvS2 in so long that I actually forgot he existed...but now that I remember him, he totally needs to be a playable character. Just put him on treads, give him jets for dashing/jumping, and let him club people with his giant steel mug of beer. That aside though...for some reason I really like Anu Orta Veniya from Panzer Dragoon Orta. A song written in Panzerese.

Legend of Mana has that theme song in swedish. Don't worry if you can't understand what she's singing cause the lyrics are absolute and utter rubbish anyway. Most likely written by a Squeenix person with little or no knowledge of the swedish language. Hilarious stuff.
Then there's that intro song from Phantasmagoria which is, in fact, very good! Shame about the game...

A Swedish friend of mine says that the theme song was written by a Swedish singer, who also sang the song. In what way were the lyrics utter rubbish? Because the lyrics were metaphorical? Anyway, I have yet to hear this song myself.
