Ran out of stuff I wanted to post, and laziness. Plus I was including music in the podcasts, which we haven't done for awhile due to not being able to get enough people together on the weekends, so that's died up for the moment too.
I guess I could bring it back with some suggestions.

Throw in some GB Castlevania 2, or arcade TMNT, or even that KOF94 tune that's a ripoff of Faith No More's "Surprise! You're dead!".

I've got the Wild Arms 5 OST on my MP3 player right now, but since I've played all of maybe an hour of the game, the only thing I listen to is the main battle theme over and over (which is very good, I approve of flamenco guitars). Beyond that, the only other soundtrack in my rotation is Heroes of Mana, which is also pretty good. I downloaded Metroid Prime 3 and Rockman ZX Advent so I guess I better give those a listen.
KoF already has tunes up in his article, and I hear there's a whole other website with like practically every official Castlevania MP3 ever, so doing an MP3 of the week would be redundant.

...or even that KOF94 tune that's a ripoff of Faith No More's "Surprise! You're dead!". Holy eff, yes! Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks that the guitar line of the Ikari Team's music bears much more than a passing resemblance to FNM. And five years later, they'd plagarize "Children" by Robert Miles in Rock's music on Mark of the Wolves. ... !!!!! Video game music ripoffs of real songs! THERE'S an ongoing idea for MP3's of the week! Or, at least, a special article! Of course, the most infamous example is "Bobby Prince is a Filthy Thief," which plays most of the Doom tunes alongside the songs that they ripped. Some of them bore fair resemblances, some of them strong ones, and level 23's music in Doom II is the most flagrant usage of Them Bones I've ever heard in a video game! All it needs is Layne Staley crooning about how he feels so alone and how he's gonna end up a big ol' pile of the name of the song. ;D

Suggestions for MP3's of the Week (I actually have these songs on my hard drive to contribute if needed):
- Either Carousel, Heroes, or Crystal Space from the Genesis game Sub-Terrania (an early Jesper Kyd soundtrack) - Death Alley from Vectorman - The Level 12 music from the original Descent (don't know if the songs in that game have proper titles) - Pretty much anything from Tyrian - preferably Tyrian: The Level, Return Me To Savara, or Rock Garden - The battle theme from Valkyrie Profile 2 (because I don't have this one yet...) - For some C64 goodness, Warhawk by Rob Hubbard, Night Shift, Maniac Mansion, or Chris Huelsbeck's loader theme from R-Type
