I think this one should be updated because of Shadow of the Ninja and S.C.A.T. seeing a Virtual Console release, plus there are some more differences between Final Mission, S.C.A.T. and Action in New York. Here they are:
-You know how the article mentions that the two playable characters resemble Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sigourney Weaver? Well, the intro's bios actually NAMES them Arnold and Sigourney. I'm not sure if they kept that on the Virtual Console release, though. Infogrames did change them for the European version, to Silver Man and Sparks respectively. -Another change Infogrames made to it was removing the C from S.C.A.T., now turning it into the Special Attack Team. Plus, while the US intro only had the acronym under Affiliation on the bios, the Euro version has the full (and changed) name. -The intro text on the European version I think was slightly changed. -Speaking of intros, Final Mission has an entirely different intro. It shows cities being destroyed and the evil forces coming to Earth.
Another interesting thing is that, in Europe, Shadow of the Ninja and S.C.A.T. were released on the Virtual Console as imports, possibly because of publishing rights issues (I'm assuming that Taito and Infogrames/Atari still own Blue Shadow and Action in New York, respectively)

The reason why they removed the "C" was because the title can be confused with a sick fetish. If the article is updated, I would like to see the difficulty covered a bit more in that it was rare for a Japanese game to be so hard, they had to tone it down for an English release. Usually it was the opposite. Speaking of intros, I don't think they used the same music, which btw listen to this awesome remix. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyvG5qTFGQk

I assume that's why they removed it. ScrewAttack's Video Game Vault video on it starts out by saying how people apparently missed out on the game just because of its title. The very first thing he says is this: "Yeah, ha ha, SCAT means poop, ha ha!" in a sarcastic way.
