Anyone know how to get savestates working on ePSXe with SaGa Frontier?

Save states should work regardless of the game. I don't remember what are the save states keys, but read the emu documentation to find out or just press all the F keys until you find it.

Oh, I know how to do savestates. Just when I load them on SaGa Frontier, the screen goes black.

Does anyone else have any ideas? And no, "lol just use memcards" won't work, I'd prefer to be able to use savestates. And yes, they do work. Long ago they did for me.

Try reinstalling the emulator.

I think I figured out the problem- it has something to do with how SaGa Frontier displays graphics.

The best thing you could do is use the emu called PSX, I hear its much better than epsxe and it doesn't use all those annoying plug-ins.

pSX doesn't have cheating functions. So I can't fiddle around with shit like the Debug Menu.

There's a cheat app you can use for pSX, it's called CEP, do a google search for it.

Hate to neko post this thread, but I'm currently attempting to figure out if I can fix this problem by using Pete's OpenGL2 video plugin since I can use it now. I might also try a newer sound plugin than what I've been using.

Perhaps.
I decided to convert to pSX since I got CEP. pSX reminds me more of VBA. Which is a good thing.

I head over to emuforums when I get in emulator trouble.
