Hey there, new to the forums. I'm a big fan of the site though. If noone's started tackling it yet, I'd like to write a series on the Clock Tower games. I'm a bit of a fan. Someone had reserved these awhile ago actually but I haven't heard back in a few months, so please hold off for now until I can get a confirmation. Heya, it's been over a year now, and I wanted to see how the Clock Tower article's going. I'm still interested in putting it together. I think I could get a publishable draft by July. Let me know, I'm really just looking to get some game writing done soonish.

I've actually got a finished Clock Tower article, but the main reason it hasn't gone up yet is the author was unable to take pictures of most of the games, and we haven't had the time to get around to it ourselves. Would you be able to pick up that part of the project?

At the moment I'm writing an article for the Windows 3.1 and Sega Saturn game Zeddas: Servant of Sheol, also known as Horror Tour in Japan, by a company called Caravan interactive. It's essentially a Myst-style adventure game where you explore a castle and maze-like dungeon, interacting with its demonic inhabitants who all seem to have a penchant for S&M gear. I'm also currently writing a review of the first game by Haruhiko Shono (of Gadget fame): Alice, an Interactive Museum. It features mind-boggling erotic/visceral/surrealist art by Kuniyoshi Kaneko, and the idea of exploring a nonsensical museum is kind of interesting. However, the game is veeery outdated, and it's humanely impossible to complete it because there is no save feature AND there is that one room where the riddles are casino stuff - you get the picture. Worse than DogDay, really. Interestingly enough I was considering writing an article about that too. If you are still writing it I can provide screenshots I took of my playthrough should you be interested in using them.

Thank you for proposing your help but I'm fine, I already have all the screenshots I need for the article. Speaking of which, I should be done with the Alice and L-ZONE articles in less than a few days.

The Sweet Home revision is about half done. I'm getting some stuff off of Yahoo Auction to scan in, but I'll need some help from someone on translating some of it.

Drawing closer to finishing an article about the games by Game Freak prior to Pokemon. I'm trying to see how much non-game content to have as examples since Ken Sugimori made a bunch of manga and illustration content based on their work. I did decide to edit and translate a short manga bit Sugimori made on Mendel Palace/Quinty back when it was released:

I DID IT! I finally finished my thoughtful writeup of Hotel Dusk and Last Window. This has been hanging over my head for ages and I am sorrowful that it has taken this long.
Now, FINAL BOSS: Screenshot collection!

Awesome, I look forward to reading up all your thoughts about the mad adventures of Kyle Hyde. As a preview, can you say which one you liked better, Hotel Dusk or Last Window?
And Joseph Joestar, did you ever get help for those Sweet Home translations you needed?

As a preview, can you say which one you liked better, Hotel Dusk or Last Window? Hotel Dusk, hands down. The pacing in Last Window is lacking.

Would anyone be interested in an article covering all of the bitGeneration games? I'm playing them for the moment and it's a surprisingly amazing series. I've already started writing the French-language article, so do let me know if you think they're worth covering on the site.

Yes to both the bitGenerations and the Chulip article!

Hmmm... with a Chulip article alongside the Rule of Rose article I've recently submitted, this site would have 100% of the japanese company Punchline's output covered.

Hey, that's pretty cool! I actually thought about writing a piece on Rule of Rose myself in order to have a "full Punchline cover", but I just dislike that game too much - I would probably just go overboard in my rant.
