I'm going to write an article on Racdym's 1-on-1 action/strategy/shooting game for the PS1: Trap Gunner.

WARIO LAND calling it. not wario ware, if i can avoid it (if you're "cool" with that) and probably not the VB version, if someone else wants to write that part also since it's my first time actually saying i'll write an article and putting hands to keyboard afterwards, would anyone mind getting in touch with me and helping me work on the article itself it's not that i'm New To This for any means, but my usual structure of writing is a lot more "it's the ultimate example of murder-boner self fellation" and less "....was developed by Nintendo's RND1, who showed great prowess with the Gameboy...."

I'm putting the finishing touches on Crystal of Kings. Next article is going to be Nowhere, a mobile phone exclsive horror/action game. It's very atmospheric and has graphics that remind me of some of the Amiga's darker games. It's also the game that convinced me that mobile phone games can be awesome.

Hey folks, I'll take the Clock Tower bounty if nobody else has yet. Also, on a related note...

I wish someone would write about the Shadow of the Beast trilogy. It needs to be here. I can't write so I'm just throwing it out there

I'm going to reserve Coryoon: Child of Dragon. I don't really care for the graphics, but I think it's one of the better shooters on the PC Engine.

Hi. I'm interested in writing a few articles for this site, and would like to start by writing about the Violinist of Hameln game for the SNES, and the Dark Lord trilogy (Dark Lord, Wizap: The King of Darkness, and Dark Law: The Meaning of Death) for the NES and SNES.
There's a lot more I'd like to do, but I want to get those done first before biting off more than I can chew.

I'm tossing my hat in the ring. I'm currently working on an article for Kabuki Quantam Fighter. I started the article off pretty good, but things kinda went to hell when I started writing about the gameplay mechanics etc. At this point I'm mostly procrastinating on finishing it up. Also, if no one has claimed Conquest of the Crystal Palace, I'll be doing that one next.

I'd be most interested in the Conquest of the Crystal Palace - I'm about to write a piece on its localization for my blog myself.

Well, I finished writing Kabuki and that turned out pretty good.
As for the Crystal Palace, aside from what I already know, the Japanese release didn't give the dog a name in the game. I'd love to get my hands on the Japanese manual and get it translated so to see if they name the dog in there.

I'm putting the finishing touches on Coryoon.
If someone's willing to help me translate the opening, I can write an article on Atlus' old arcade puzzle game "Oh My God!". The game itself is addictive and plays like a cross between Tetris and Snake.
All I need translated is two screens worth of Japanese text, supposedly said by God at the begining of the game. If someone can translate it, I'll put pics up in another thread. It's not essential to have this translated, but it would help me a lot. Thanks.

I have two articles planned, Gunbird and Uniracers.
I may need a bit of help with Gunbird. The Dreamcast port of Gunbird 2 adds Morrigan from Darkstalkers as a playble character. I've never played this version because I'm sad to admit that I don't own a Dreamcast and probably never will. Help would be greatly appreciated on that, because it would pretty much finish coverage on Psikyo shooters. It's going to take a while to write because of all the characters and referances to other Psikyo games, so it may be in production for a longer time than usual.
I'm mostly covering Uniracers because it's a fun racing game involving unicycles and that the studio behind it went on to become Rockstar North.

You should be able to emulate it on NullDC. The ISO probably isn't very big either.
Make sure to check out Mobile Light Force too, since it's technically Gunbird with the character names changed to people who worked for the publisher!

Ok I'm done with the writeup for the two remaining ACE games. Now I need to reformat the screenshots and I want to try to code the HTML myself.
One thing though, Kurt. When I submitted the screens last time you left out some of the thumbnails I made and made different ones. Just so I'm clear, thumbnails for for the profile pics should be 160 pixels wide and thumbnails for box covers should have the console logo cut out? I'm going by example when it comes to re-sizing the shots but it might be a good idea to update the submission guidelines with the appropriate sizes for thumbnails of every screen type. Since PSP screens thumbnails are a different size than the 640x480 stuff.

I'd hold off formatting any HTML since we'll be moving to a new format (hopefully) soon.
Some of it will be changing due to an upcoming redesign, but the maximum width for screenshots is 320. Anything more should have a thumbnail resized to 320 width (and keep it in proportion to the height so it doesn't mess up the ratio).
There's no set size of the portrait thumbnails since it kinda depends based on the pictures, but usually they're in the vicinity of 150x150.
Don't worry about cropping the console logo out of box logos, we typically don't do that anymore.
