Is it at all possible to play it properly with a keyboard, or will I need a gamepad?

I would imagine that analog control would be difficult with a keyboard, and JGR does rely on it for a few key things, like the graffiti twiddles.

NullDC doesn't like analog input anymore, so even if you get a gamepad working, you won't be able to use analog.

They're right. Joy2Key is best for this situation.

Does Joy2Key handle analog beyond "that motion is now a button"?

Microsoft should just hurry up and license a third (portable versions aside). So they can release the original on XBLA. See SC4 > SC. Oh, and release Future as a classics/downloadable.
We all win. New JSR, and even if it's terrible, there's JSR on XBLA to enjoy, and those who want can buy Future all over again!

If they're going to put Future on as an Originals game, they better fix the god damned graffiti editor! I can't see what the hell I'm doing on it because their emulation is not advanced enough to handle a GOD DAMNED PAINT PROGRAM.
