www.hardcoregaming101.net/ultraballoon/ultraballoon.htmThis is a really shameless Bubble Bobble clone with WACKY JAPAN written all over it. Worth a look for the craziness. Tons of animated GIFs abound, just because you really need to see the game in motion to get a lot of it.

W.T.F.
'Oh, Japan' doesn't even begin to explain this.

WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE?!
Also, right near the intro: "This is the most uniqud thing I've ever seen."

"But since the chances of you actually doing so are slim to Kate Moss"
Great little piece.

Also, right near the intro: "This is the most uniqud thing I've ever seen." That's intentional, it's typoed in the game

This reminds of Pipi & Bibi (aka Whoopie), which was basically a cutesy hentai version of Elevator Action. Except this game is even more low-budget, with much of the artwork ripped from other sources.
Aside from the ripped off art from Satoshi Urushihara, the cat-like boss looks a lot like the Famitsu fox mascot and the main monster seems like something out of Adventure Island or Wonder Boy.
Its funny how inconsistent the design for the Princess is between the opening intro, the in-game sprite, and the hentai segments (assuming they're meant to be the same character to begin with).

Hrm.
Well, that you're repeating the game's typo wasn't clear to me offhand- maybe this is a sign that you should use a static image showing the "story" instead?
BTW, I swear I've seen that World 2 boss somewhere before, but I can't quite place him. I'm thinking one of the lesser-known SNES platformers... Maybe one of the Joe and Mac games? R.O.B.? Plok? Dino City?

Well, the animated gifs aren't just there to annoy. They're there to EDUCATE. Like this one:

Oh my... The most disturbing thing is that the third boss looks suspiciously like Bubsy. And the giant Gundam is the icing on the cake...or the final nail on the coffin,I can't decide.

Why does that gif give off a sexual innuendo vibe?

Oh my... The most disturbing thing is that the third boss looks suspiciously like Bubsy. Its actually the Famitsu mascot. I pointed it over a few posts ago.

More like WACKY KOREA, which SunA (the entity behind other great arcade "classics" such as Rough Ranger) hails from. Hrm. BTW, I swear I've seen that World 2 boss somewhere before, but I can't quite place him. I'm thinking one of the lesser-known SNES platformers... Maybe one of the Joe and Mac games? R.O.B.? Plok? Dino City? It's the second boss from Dino City.
