As long as people are posting corrections/additions to older articles, I'll go ahead and do so for Guilty Gear. Some of these are rather minor and/or nitpicky, but whatever.
Character profiles: 1. "When Zato1's voice actor died, the designers changed the character's name to Eddie, proclaiming that the old Zato had been killed." Not exactly; Zato-1 is the human and Eddie is the parasitic Forbidden Beast that took over his body. Storyline-wise, the human host died between the events of X and XX.
2. "No one knows what's behind Venom's mask." His mask is just his hair and you actually do see his full face in some of his sprite's animations.
3. "The main boss of Guilty Gear, Dizzy is one of May's crew members that is, in fact, a Gear." Should be Guilty Gear X.
4. "Slayer is the ultimate contridication - he's a vampire hunter who's a vampire himself." He's not a vampire hunter. That's just his name.
5. "Weird" is misspelled in Zappa's profile.
6. Justice is actually female.
7. The reason that Justice and Kliff only appear as unlockable characters in the later games is because storyline-wise, they both died at the end of or soon after the first game.
8. "Due to Leopaldon's size, you can't actually play as him (it?)" You can use Leopaldon in Versus and Training modes, but that's it.
GG section: "There are eleven characters total, a decent roster for a new franchise, but a little lacking compared to the competition." There are ten characters that can be used in Normal mode, but 3 more that can be unlocked for Versus and Training.
GGX section: "Guilty Gear X promotoes offensive play, both by limiting your blocking and depleting your tension gauge if you retreat too often." small typo
GGXX section: "The story mode from Guilty Gear X Plus returns (the first time for English players) and Sammy was nice enough to leave the voices in Japanese." It's an all-new story mode that takes place a few weeks after the events of GGX.
I have GGXX Slash and can do a write-up of it. It's actually a much bigger update from #Reload than #Reload was from XX.

Fixed. Thanks!
Actually if you can write something about Slash that'd be awesome. I never bothered to pick it up. I never bothered with the portable ones either, which is why there's nothing about Dust Strikers or Judgment. You haven't happened to play of those either, have you?

Note on the Portables
There are 2 versions of Judgement The American Version is Judgement + #reload the Japanese version contains slash and I think it also has ABA in Judgement mode
also Justice is Dizzy's mother

Actually if you can write something about Slash that'd be awesome. I never bothered to pick it up. OK, I've started writing that as well as a profile for Order Sol. I never bothered with the portable ones either, which is why there's nothing about Dust Strikers or Judgment. You haven't happened to play of those either, have you? No, I haven't played either of those. I tried to pick up Dust Strikers when it was on $10 clearance at Circuit City, but they didn't have it in stock at my local store or online. As for Judgment, I don't have a PSP.

You may want to cut these down if they're too long for your liking.
Order Sol: This is Sol as he appeared nine years before the events of Guilty Gear X/XX when he was in the Holy Order with Ky and Kliff. In addition to a mostly different moveset, he has a special Level meter which he can use to power-up any of his special attacks and Overdrives. Instead of an Instant Kill, he has an Overdrive combo which can take off up to half of the opponent's life bar and can only be executed under certain conditions and with precise timing. This impossible-to-pull-off maneuver's command is hcb hcb+S, P, K, S, HS, D, K, S, f b f hcf+HS. Geese Howard would be so proud.
Guilty Gear XX Slash (2006) - Arcade / Playstation 2 / PSP
Guilty Gear XX Slash is the latest revision to the series' primary 1-on-1 gameplay. It features two new characters: A.B.A. from Isuka and Order Sol. The changes to the returning characters are much more pronounced from #Reload to this than with XX to #Reload. Most of the characters have gained new moves or have had moves drastically altered. The opening animation has been edited to add in sequences of Robo-Ky, A.B.A., and Order Sol. A.B.A. and Order Sol each have new backgrounds and music tracks. Most notable is Order Sol's stage, a city turned battlefield in the midst of the Holy War with many large dead and dying Gears all around. Many of the existing stages have been revised, often with new and more detailed background characters. The status gauges at the top of the screen have undertaken another overhaul.
The game's new final boss, whom you fight after I-no, is a super-charged version of Order Sol. How cheap is he? Well, for starters, his health, tension, and level meters all regenerate. In addition to that, he can execute that devastating Overdrive combo with ease and is not shy about using it.
The Playstation 2 version includes the same modes as previous versions of XX, minus Story. Mission mode has been completely redesigned for the better. All of the unlockable artwork is completely new and the menus have all been redone. One nice new feature is the ability to select any stage and track combination for versus battles.

Some random factoids to possibly add to the profiles: Dr. Baldhead/Faust is a serial killer turned miracle-working doctor. He hides his identity while trying to atone for his former sins. Venom is gay and is in love with Zato. This is most likely unrequited as it is implied that Zato and Millia are former lovers. Before he was turned into a Gear, Testament was Kliff's adopted son. Dizzy is only 3 years old. I-no can time slip like Axl, but can control it. A.B.A. is most likely some type of homunculus. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HomunculusDespite the name, Gears are fully organic, not mecha or cyborgs. Justice is wearing some form of mecha suit. Only her hair and eyes are visible. When Kliff was 6 years old, Sol saved him from a Gear attack.

A note on Guilty Gear and Genshiken:
While Guilty Gear hasn't been turned into an anime (save the GGX+ clip and the XX intro), it is featured in the TV series Genshiken. It is about an anime/manga/video game club at a Japanese college. One of the characters is an expert GG player. The show uses actual footage of #Reload and Isuka (and Puyo Pop) in a few episodes as well as in the opening sequence. In addition, one of the female characters cosplays as Jam in one episode.

I watched Genshiken with the worlds biggest bitch.....thus I hate it I also told her she belongs in Genshiken.....only she's a bigger loser than the characters. This is guilty Gear Not Fullmetal Alchemist... Also did anybody mention I-no is basically Shiina Ringo?

I think he meant that A.B.A. was a human made by human hands to do her creator's bidding.

I think he meant that A.B.A. was a human made by human hands to do her creator's bidding. I'm just being funny I meant a humanoid artificially created through alchemy. A.B.A. doesn't clearly belong to any of the other species in GG (human, gear, vampire, robot, forbidden beast). Some reasons why I think this: She named her sentient key-shaped ax Paracelsus. This is the pseudonym of the real-life alchemist who once claimed to have created a homunculus. Her bloodtype is listed as "MYSTERIOUS LIQUID CONTAINING MERCURY." Mercury was an important element to alchemists. Her Flask/Frasco stages in Isuka and Slash invoke the concept of a alchemy lab. Finally, check out this video of A.B.A.'s Instant Kill. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfDliCsNfZ4 It reminds me a lot of The Gate in, yes, Full Metal Alchemist. Hey, if Zappa's IK can be a reference to The Ring, why not? Her official story from the Sammy's Isuka website: FAR AWAY FROM A LONELY VILLAGE, THERE IS A DESERTED WESTERN LOOKING HOUSE CALLED "FLASK" ON THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN. THE DOCTOR WHO OWNED THAT MANSION SPENT ALL HIS LIFE CREATING AN ARTIFICIAL LIFE FORM. A.B.A. WAS THE CREATURE OF HIS LIFE WORK. HOWEVER THE DOCTOR WAS CARTED OFF BY THE MILITARY FOR HIS TALENTS JUST PRIOR TO A.B.A.’S AWAKENINGS. WHEN A.B.A. OPENED HER EYES, THE HOUSE WAS SEALED COMPLETELY. SHE WAS FORCED TO LIVE ALONE IN "FLASK" FOR 10 YEARS. GOING OUTSIDE WASN'T TOO HARD, BUT SHE STILL FELT UNCOMPLETED. SHE HAD SOMEHOW KNOWN THAT SHE COULD LIVE ONLY IN THE WELL-EQUIPPED "FLASK". TO DISTRACT HERSELF FROM MISERY, SHE DEVOTED HERSELF TO COLLECT "KEYS" THAT SYMBOLIZED AN OPENING OF NEW WORLD THAT ONE DAY SHE MIGHT GET TO EXPLORE. ONE DAY SHE GOT TIRED OF HER SOLITUDE AND DECIDED TO GO OUTSIDE. SOMETIME DURING THAT TIME, SHE FOUND A BATTLE AXE CALLED "JURAMENTO NAGEL" WHICH IS A RELIC OF THE WAR. SHE FELL IN LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT WITH THE AXED SHAPED AS A KEY. A.B.A. NAMED IT "PARACELSUS" AND DECIDED TO KEEP IT AS HER PARTNER. SHE BEGAN HER JOURNEY TO GIVE PARACELSUS AN ARTIFICIAL BODY SUCH AS HERS. TO PUT IT SIMPLY, A.B.A. IS VERY SHY OF PEOPLE. SINCE SHE LIVED BY HERSELF IN SECLUSION FOR 10 YEARS, SHE DOESN’T HAVE CONFIDENCE ABOUT ANYTHING IN THE "OUTSIDE" WORLD. SHE IS AN ARTIFICIAL LIFE FORM AND HAS STRONG PRINCIPLES BY NATURE, BUT SHE IS ALSO VERY FRIGHTENED OF COMPETITION AT TIMES. DUE TO HER COMPLICATED PERSONALITY, SHE TRIES TO TREAT OTHERS AUTHORITATIVELY, OFTENTIMES USING DIFFICULT EXPRESSIONS THAT NO ONE USUALLY USES. A.B.A. IS REALLY JUST A TIMID GIRL. THERE IS NO HATRED TOWARDS OTHERS IN HER HEART AND SHE CAN BE JUST AS THOUGHTFUL AS OTHER HUMAN BEINGS. A.B.A. FINDS MOTIVATION IN PARACELSUS, HER KEY, WHO SHE DECIDED TO TAKE AS A PARTNER YEARS AGO. HE HELPS HER TO ACT POSITIVELY, HOWEVER SHE STILL LACKS COOPERATIVENESS AT TIMES. A.B.A. IS OF A POSSESSIVE NATURE AND VERY JEALOUS WHEN IT COMES TO PARACELSUS; THERE IS NOTHING BUT PURE LOVE FOR HIM IN HER HEART.

Yeah that's pretty cool Very FMA like.
there are other anime references in Guilty Gear though if I recall. Baikin for example (not sure if it's kenshin or another anime I can't remember)
I love Zappa's IK too, it's just, hard to pull off since you need to practially be humping your hapless victem to pull it off. and May's IK is hard to pull off too since it's a different action all together.
I wish ASW would make a real GG follow up instead of the Street Fighter Syndrome the Series has contracted.
