I need to get in on this some day when I have A) Free time, and B) GGPO.

I still haven't tried D&D yet. Four players? Guess not. Still, I love me some Last Blade.

I played some Garou and SFA2 with TheThird last night. Lots of fun!

Yeah, those were some pretty kickass games we had ShellShock. Garou is probably the most fun game in GGPO, for me.
Unlike a recent SF3 game, where spamming the living shit out of Akuma's air (fucking!) hadouken pissed me off to a unimaginable degree. Sad thing is, up until the point where my opponent got me mad I was actually kicking his ass :l

Yesterday, third and I had many a fine fight on Garou before the emulator froze up, a rarity with GGPO. I think we moved over to SF3 afterwards and had several more good clashes... or was that the day before? Gah, my brains are all scrambled. But I definitely remember us having a few fantastic matches on Marvel vs. Capcom (and I think I've found an official asskick duo in Jin and Venom), which were sadly cut short due to my computer randomly freezing up for no good reason whatsoever. Oh well. I'll consider that a rain check, third. I owe you some more fights at MvC. Sucks to hear about that scrubhole Akuma fighter, though. I'd take a plane to track that guy down and beat him up myself by spamming a personal favorite move over and over: The crotch kick!

I don't use custom combos in Alpha 2, spam fireballs, or abuse infinite combos in Garou. I try to keep it entertaining so that we can all play without getting frustrated with the game.
Sotenga, are you going to be on today after 8? Anybody else also welcome!

Sotenga, are you going to be on today after 8? Anybody else also welcome! ... gah! Stupid time gap. I don't know which is when... what would 8:00 be in EST? That's GMT -5... and 8 a.m. or p.m.? I'm horrible at math, so disruption is often my fault.

If any, spammed hurricane kicks online are what pisses people off. I haven't played that game online though since the nFBA P2P days so no clue about the lag nowadays. Anyway, I often play ST on GGPO and welcome any sort of spam.

Do you have instant messenger? Sotenga: do you have any instant messenger other than AIM?

Sotenga: do you have any instant messenger other than AIM? I actually do have Yahoo Instant Messenger as well, but I haven't used it in ages. Should still work, though.

You can't really spam on GGPO because the lag is so low you are going to get countered every time. Yeah, that's been my experience too; there are still things that are enhanced by even the slight lag although I agree that it's not a big factor. And yeah, I go by Ganelon on GGPO and I'm on fairly often at night but I only play ST. Happily, no IMing of any sort for me outside of work.

Anyway, I often play ST on GGPO and welcome any sort of spam. Before that game I was unable to actually intentionally parry any move in SF3. Those matches made me improvise (I can successfully parry a hadouken and in some lucky cases a spin kick now). I'm still trying to get good in SF3, so I'm always practicing. I guess I should really be thanking the guy....? Sucks to hear about that scrubhole Akuma fighter, though. I'd take a plane to track that guy down and beat him up myself by spamming a personal favorite move over and over: The crotch kick! And thank you sir, for the laugh
