Somewhere in New Zealand lies Waitomo cave. Much of the cave is filled with water, and it's even possible to canoe or raft through parts of it. If you were to do so then you'd be treated to a rather unique sight. The ceiling of Waitomo cave sometimes lights up with countless small glowing spots, creating a look remarkably similar to a night sky. The glowing spots are actually created by glow worms, which I guess are pretty much exactly what you'd expect they are. And the sight they create on the ceiling of the darkened cave is, if nothing else, not quite exactly like anything else. Check it out: The glowing Waitomo cave in New Zealand

Very cool, though not the first time I'd heard about this cave. I used to dig into old Choose your own Adventure books when I was younger, and one of them The Lost Tribe, dealing with finding an ancient Maori tribe, covered the legend of the glowing caves (which your character could discover and find, after the fact, it was lit by glow worms). Still, it's neat to finally see pictures of something I'd read about.

Shit, the cave is corrupted by Phazon. Oh fuck, don't let it get into your body! Where's Samus when we need her most?

Oh man, that is intense. Like space in a cave! It is amazing, and I'd love to see it in a nice video game, like Klonoa or something along those lines...
Mhm, that is perty.
