OK, see, if you have a real DS, you can put the Ganbare Goemon DS game in Slot 1, and put the Ganbare Goemon 1+2 GBA game into Slot 2, and have it open up a hidden minigame when you play the DS game. That's great! Now, how do you enable something like that in an emulator like NO$GBA? It only seems to want to open one ROM at a time.

Yeah, already tried, unfortunately it doesn't unlock the Space Manbow minigame, only the Quarth minigame.

Thought about this again at work today, and I was thinking of looking up to see if there was a press/developers kit for the DS/GBA, much in the same way there was for the GBC games on an N64 (Forget what its called though...wave64 I think). Anyways, I came across NO$GBA a few times, and I checked the site. You may be able to pull off a combo using 2 roms using that emulator, but I'm not too sure about its public availability. Looks like its a developers program or something. Hope this helps. nocash.emubase.de/gba.htm

Just use the link up option with no$gba for up to 2 systems, load the ds game in one and the GBA game in the other. It should work.

Nope, tried it, it just crashes. That option looks like it's to link up GBAs to GBAs, or maybe DSs to DSs too, rather than emulate the Slot1/2 functionality of the DS.

Heh, I guess you're right. I thought that option was included in the emu for a long time now. Have you tried any of the other emus? Ideas, DSEmuMe, etc? Even if their compatibility isn't that high, those usually have more options than No$gba.

Geez, from what I can tell with my Google-fu, you may have to settle with ether not getting the screens, or picking up a cheap DS and modding it with a video out. I checked youtube and some of the vids have some great ideas to present. Check them out at least, and I hope they can help. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hM_Iu6xbk4cwww.youtube.com/watch?v=jRmHophHvJswww.youtube.com/watch?v=o5ZMmrNB-UQFrom what it looks like, if you have a really good camcorder, you could probably snake some "ok" looking screens with the right prep, and perfect light settings. If anything, it may make you feel like a kid again, taking pics of your high scores for bragging rights ;D

I know there's an official screen cap or two out there - I might just have to use that. I haven't actually played it for myself - I own Goemon DS but not the GBA game, nor do I own the proper flash cart to load it on. I'd love to play a smoother, graphically, aurally updated version of Space Manbow, even if it's only the first level. I just read that you can do something like this with Knights in the Nightmare with the GBA Yggdra Union, which I do own. Yay.

It makes Yggdra thr tutorial girl and gives you access to using Pamela in the main game.

Castlevania DS and AS have that feature too, as well as the new Super Robot Taisen title (When mixed with both of the OG GBA games)

Kurt, I unlocked the Space Manbow minigame, do you want screenshots or do you want to play it?
