Saturn cue sheet problem

I've downloaded Street Fighter Collection Disk 1 bin/cue from two different places. In each instance the game has worked fine but the cue has been messed up, making the music tracks in the game screwy.

This .cue I have seems to be the closest, the problem is each track starts with a 2 second fading out of the previous track, then a pause, then the real track plays.

Is there a way I can edit this cue to play the tracks correctly? Here's the cue-

Download "Sega Cue Maker", it should make a perfect cue for you.

If the music is still screwed, then it could be a problem with what you are using to mount the bin/cue? Or maybe the emulator version?

I thought sega cue maker was only good if you had an iso/mp3, which I don't. anyway

i solved the problem! i did some tinkering and decided to add some seconds to all 65 tracks to make up for the fade out/silence time. It turned out to be 6 seconds. Whenever I tried changing the hundredths place I kept getting errors, so I didn't bother with that. So after adding 6 seconds to all 130 stop and start times the game is playing properly. I feel awesome.

HOWever there is a slight delay before each track starts. This is most noticeable when the music switches when near-ko. All I would need to do is add a few tenths of a second to each track, but when I edit the hundredths, when I mount it with Daemon Tools, it gives me an error. Is this just a daemon tools thing? Should I try burning it and seeing what it does on a real saturn?

Or-instead of me wasting cd-rs, is there a saturn emulator that doesn't have to have images mounted on a virtual drive that I could use.

I figured it out, I was going over the limit of 72 for the hundredths place, which is why I was getting errors. I assumed it was 99. Why it isn't, I don't know.

Download a cd checker and it will tell you if the cue is correct or not.

...care to recommend one? Google is throwing me a bunch of different "CD checkers" and none of them sound like they will do what I am trying to find out nvm, CDmage may have done the trick

Open the audio files in an audio editor, look at the waveform and you'll probably find a small section of silence at the start of the tracks. Just delete that and it should be right. I did that with some old megaCD games and the audio played perfectly - it wasn't the cue sheet that was the problem after all.

at both sites it appears to be same version listed
it has gaps of 2 seconds for all tracks, it's an common value you'll run into most often

1) your image has no gaps defined

further you should be able to convert relative time references to absolute ones:

those are INDEX 01 fields for tracks starting from 2nd (it's always 00:00:00 for 1st)
INDEX 00 wound be 2 seconds less (pregap=2sec), except 2nd track (where ther's PREGAP statement instead)

if you would do it a lot it shouldn't be too difficult to make an script then

2) in case with your image however those indexes are quite different

so i would say it's an different version maybe (but still it's very very strange to have no gaps)
or more likely something is wrong with this backup (maybe faulty mp3->raw restoration @previous generations)

ther's 1 sector difference, that carries on since 1st track (data) but it could very well indicate different version
that's exactly what you'd expect from version change: modded data, unchanged audio

with gaps different from 2:00 seconds math would be slightly more complex though
