Wow, they did a really shitty job spray painting that. Still, that auction would be worth it for the games themselves, and then you can use the parts of the gameboy to fix another broken one. Damn, why do I have to be broke.

There shouldn't be a reason why you would want to fix your old GameBoy. Mine broke after 20 years and I just got a new one from Ebay, mint, for $30. Box, manual, and all peripherals. The earphones weren't even out of their original bag, and I got an AC adapter for free.

I would want to because its fun to bugger with electronics. My original one has a blown speaker, and the very left of the screen is dead.

How can you blow a GameBoy speaker? Mine had a line of pixels missing, which is normal after a lot of time. I opened it up to see if it was fixable but it was too complicated.
