I would of loved to see the Phantasy Star Sega Ages released here. Its sad how that company that was going to localize it went under.

Quick change to the end of the Monster World section: you wrote "Dragon's Lair" instead of "Monster Lair" and left out Bikkuriman World.

I was really excited when I first saw the screenies for the PS1 remake. Now, unless I learn to read Japaneses (doubtful, I'm lazy) I'll never be able to play 'em (Well...I could, but it's no fun having to refer to a script thing as you play, assuming somebody has translated one)

Disco, I feel the need to bring this to your attention: www.famitsu.com/game/coming/2007/07/15/104,1184483387,75235,0,0.html "(Sega Ages Vol.30?): Dennou Senki Virtual On" (The first VO game) It has a lot of extra features, and it has online. It's coming out on October 25th.

I REALLY want to play the remakes.

Don't worry; you're not missing much. In fact, if you already know PS by heart, you don't need to know any JP to play the game. I really want Sega to continue on with the PS IV remake by themselves but that doesn't look to be happening either.

Cool, thanks for the heads-up. I knew Virtual On was planned but didn't know the release. If they made another set of dual sticks for this, that'd be too awesome.

Have any of you guys received Galaxy Force 2 yet? I'm still waiting to get mine, but I'm wondering how you guys think the port is since I really haven't heard anything about it so far. Heck, impressions of the game would be appreciated nowadays as well, since I haven't played the thing in well over a dozen years.

I still need to order it. Should probably place an order with NCS tommorow. I've read nothing about it so far.

I heard some impressions of the PS2 Galaxy Force II at the shmups forum. I heard it turned out very well. It also has the SMS and Genesis ports with it, probably for completeness sake. Here is a link to the shmups forum topic with some info. From the topic I linked:

The only Sega Ages titles I'd consider buying would be from the Model 2 arcade board (e.g. Virtua Fighter 2, Fighting Vipers, etc) however Dynamite Dekka (also known as Die Hard Arcade in the States and Europe)looks very promising on the Sega Ages line up

It's weird that the Nights game isn't technically a Sega Ages title...justify its higher price, I guess.
Anyway, I added the latest installment, Virtual On, to this article.

I played Sega Memorial Selection a bit this weekend and I noticed that most of the credits were for a company called Japan Art Media Co. I wonder if it would make sense to change the "Developer" listing in the article.
