www.hardcoregaming101.net/segaages/segaages.htmAccording to the main page, it's been about a month since the last update. Two weeks of that I was on vacation, and two weeks of that I was working on this - a full catalogue of all of the Sega Ages releases for the PS2. For some reason, I figured this wouldn't take too long. I was totally mistaken. Even though a handful of them have already been covered to some extent in other articles, there's still a ton more detail to go into here. This is only like 2/3 complete too. Just be warned that, at the moment, everything is on all one page, so it might bum rush your connection.

Good article. Will you be featuring all of them?

Yeah eventually. I have all of them, just need to finish writing and get some screenshots sorted out. Might make a few videos too.

Wow.... Head On. I played the Gameboy version of that a lot, mainly because the game's one and only gameplay BGM was incredibly awesome....that, and the game could get a little bit addictive with time (if not incredibly frustrating)....
Though, I still preferred Raimais/Youmais, Taito's take on that sort of game...

Ugh, my crappy dial-up connection nearly had a heart attack trying to load this.
Anyway, looking good so far Kurt. Link to the afterburner article though is broken.

Its really awesome that Gunstar Heroes Collection supports 480P in scanline and non scanline. I think Monster World Collection does as well.

When I was in Japan, I made it my mission to buy all of them. I found em used for like $10-$15 each, which was much more palatable than paying $30 through internet retailers. Except for the (crappy) Decathlete Collection, which I need to pay way too much for on eBay.
On a bonus note, I found that the music in Gain Ground doesn't just sound like awesome doujin rock group SSH, it IS awesome doujin rock group SSH. I've recorded some more music and will added it to the article eventually.

SSH is ThunderForce composer Tsukumo Hyakutaro, right?

Is it? The only thunder force songs I've heard him do is Metal Squad (TH4, level 8....THE best song in TH4, or maybe even on Genesis) and a different version of it called Steel Squad. If it's the same guy... that would make sence.

No, it's not Tsukumo Haykutarou. However Tsukumo-san is, as far as I know, the guy behind the newer Factory Noise & A.G. soundtracks such as Broken Thunder. I namecheck the guy on my myspace page for good reason!

Hot damn, I love Galaxy Force 2. Plus, with the new emphasis by Sega on emulation accuracy, I have to believe this will be as good as the last couple of volumes. End of July can't come soon enough for this one!
