www.hardcoregaming101.net/dababa/dababa.htmAnother cool FDS game from Konami, where you control a monk through a series of labrynths, hopping on tiles, shooting statues and looking for hidden stuff. It actually reminds me a lot of an early version of Startropics, although it's level-based rather than using the Zelda structure of Nintendo's game.

Seems interesting, I'll eventually give it a try.
Did you manage to beat the game? If you did, do you still have saves at the last boss?

The article translates the title as Temple Labyrinth Dababa, whereas it should be Labyrinth Temple Dababa. It'd be Temple Labyrinth Dababa if it was Meikyuu no Jiin Dababa. It would have been nice to know what the standard means of attack is, though that might be nitpicking or me just being overly curious. "Dreck" is really used in the English language? It's just me being amazed reading that. That's all. Nice article and definitely a game I'll be keeping my eyes open for as I love Startropics and puzzle-action hybrids.

*rather than the traditional twitch-based gameplay
*The limitations of movement come into play
*The graphics are quite pleasant
