Incidentally, Red Zone's attract mode sequence bragging about all the graphical effects made it quite popular among some electronics store chains, since they could set up a TV with a Genesis running that game all day and impress the people who thought they wanted Playstations. While Sub-Terrania didn't do any bragging of that sort, a store demonstration setup was what turned me toward the game in the first place. I don't regret it a bit. Zyrinx were former Amiga demo coders, so you might want to take a look at this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nln80hiP5AYa pretty famous demo using the same technique as the intro. That runs off 2 floppy discs btw, and not even HD ones...
