Both games have since been released on Virtual Console in their original Neo Geo glory, the second one only in Japan so far, though. Should be mentioned in the article. And one of the screenshots for the GBA game has a wrong caption.

Well, I haven't gotten around to fixing the caption yet, but we generally don't list Virtual Console releases. The reason is that I don't feel like combing over a huge list of games and having to go back and editing hunderds of HTML files for what essentially amount to ROM dumps. I can justify it to an extent if its a disc release and therefore might have some specific emulation issues to address, but otherwise it's just too time consuming.

For some games the VC release IS listed, though, which makes it altogether rather inconsistent.

I rarely do it except in very rare cases where it's worth mentioning (like the VC release of Sin & Punishment, or when import games show up on the NA/Euro VC, and were available at the time the article was written.) In the case of King of the Monsters, the first one is available on a compilation disc, which is why it was listed. But I really can't go back to each and every single article to type it in - it's sort of a waste of time when there are other things that need addressing elsewhere.

Ok, too bad, but I guess it makes sense in the big picture, though I thought it was worth mentioning since that's the only home port of the Arcade "perfect" KoM 2 outside of the obious Neo Geo version. Never mind, though.
