I listened to the ost for about and hour and actually found I couldn't stand listening anymore. Not because I didn't like it... but like the article said its more meant to kind of shake you up, bother you a little, I can see myself loving to hear it while playing the game itself, but damn this doesn't help me build assets, hah. Its does its job real well! It's a hard listen... quite emotionally draining, that's for sure!

Well, this being one of the series I was considering balls-ing up and writing an article on myself, I'm glad to see it was well-done. I almost feel like a list of the endings of Drakengard 1 should be included, as they are quite illustrative to how fucked up a plot it had. For Drakengard 2, did you play through all of the difficulties? The story changes each time, IIRC. I haven't yet, because I enjoyed it a lot less than 1, but it's one of those back-burner things I've had sitting around for a long time. In all honesty, I only beat Drakengard 2 once and played a few stages of the post game just so I could use Urick again (he was my favorite playable char). I really didn't like the game enough to go through it again, and I seriously doubt doing so would change my opinion of it too much. Admittedly, Drak 2 is a major improvement over Drak 1 in a lot of ways, but it's a step down from Drak 1 in one major way that made all the difference to me. Oddly enough, it reminds me of my feelings of the similar-sounding Drakkhen titles. Dragon View was definitely a better game, but it lacked that quality of utter weirdness that Drakkhen had. I did like the twist at the end where you find out Legna is the black dragon, though. That reminds me, are there any more stages where you get to play as Super Saiyan Nowe in the postgame?

I don't think so. If you'd like, I could beat it on hard/extreme and give you a rundown of the differences, though that'd be after a number of other VERY IMPORTANT Mario/LBP/Fallout3 sessions.

Actually, you can unlock Super Saiyan Nowe to play as in the regular levels, but it's merely an alternate costume with no bearing on gameplay.
Frankly, I liked both, but I found the second quite a bit more enjoyable. Hell, I actually maxed out Nowe's level before I finished my first run. I meant to play it more, but never got back to it.
And yeah, the weapon histories are the coolest thing ever.

Kind of. Before the domain was moved over last month, we were working on converting articles. I asked the web designer if the site would replace the IP with the domain name (or at least replace them with relative rather than absolute links) when it went live and he said yes.
Turns out he was wrong! None of them updated. It shouldn't be a problem but it is annoying.
Also, sometimes I change the site domain back to the IP address. Why? Well, the domain name is blocked at my day job by Websense but the IP isn't. So I need to change it for the day if I want to work on it. It shouldn't be a problem other than looking a little weird.
