And how did I forget about Bruce Lee!? Definitely gonna check out some of his filmography./quote] The thing with bruce, no doubt he was one of the best on screen fighters. His movie never reached full potential. His first 2 movies are the best Big Boss and Fist of Fury. Way of the Dragon, other then the Chuck fight, was a bit of a mess on low budget (for HK standards). And Enter the Dragon was filmed by people who cannot shoot a fight scenes (I don't why Golden Harvest didn't interfere since it was a joint production). Game of Death in it's original form could've been his greatest, I'm sure of it. The excisting footage is wonderful, it's not shapes era material because it goes beyond that. Bruce actually does some grappeling that wouldn 't have been out of place during an MMA match. What also would be interesting is to check his son's (I think) only HK movie, and it's a Heroic Bloodshed movie ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heroic_bloodshed ) called Legacy of Rage:

Pandorum & Eden Log
I've intended to watch them back to back for a while now and it was quite fun, even though Eden Log is kinda incomprehensible and too artsy at times and as fantastic as it looks ( the monsters are even better and scarier, and the scenes with Clovis Cornillac beating and ripping them with his fists make him look badass ), it actually takes a while to get into.
As for Pandorum, the scene right near the end with Foster and Quaid flipping out at the cabin is the best. And lol @ Cung Le getting beaten around on UFC after appearing in this!

Is Eden Log somehow related to Pandorum?

Look up the Pandorum entry on tvtropes, they quickly mention a comparison that makes sense if you watch them. Both movies involve an amnesiac protagonist waking up in some dark isolated claustrophobic punk punk setting ( Pandorum: Spacepunk, Eden Log: Biopunk ) and exploring it slowly to figure out what's happening and they have this horrible luck of running into some cannibalistic creatures literally running around all over the place since God knows when.
I'm guessing you can also compare them to Dark City, even though the monsters in that are freaky undead vampires very aware of what they're doing, and it takes place on a decently populated retro city ( that's dark! ).
Oh hey and Eden Log has the better soundtrack, here's the closing theme:

Hm, rather like that song. Anyway, I saw Pandorum and it was an interesting movie. May have to look up Eden Log, and maybe actually sit down to watch Dark City eventually.

I used to really like Dark City, but I guess it doesn't hold up that well over time. Interesting idea, at the least. Still, that's more than I can say about Swordfish. My god. Travolta at his hammiest, superfluous Berry-boobs, and Wolverine as a rockstar "hacker".
Excuse me, my stomach just turned a little from the memories.

Just watched Lady Terminator.
The overall experience may have been better than the real Terminator film itself.

So, as recommended, I checked out Drunken Master 2, AKA Legend of The Drunken Master (the dubbed re-release version).
Holy fucking shit.
I haven't had this much fun watching a movie in a helluva long time!
The dub is pretty charming-it's not completely terrible, but the delivery is enough to add to the humour. A lot of the people razzing the movie's sense of humour made me think that it was going to be the low part of the film, but damn, it actually had me laughing out loud for a bit. I guess I'm just a sucker for physical humour of Chan variety.
I also love the concept of somebody getting drunk off their mind and then becoming an absolute ass-kicking machine. Chan really does act like a great over-the-top drunk when he needs to, and the result is both hilarious and pretty awe-inspiring.
Anyways, on to the fights. Jesus, this movie has some of the best goddamn fight scenes I have ever seen in my entire life, and I have seen a hell of a lot of action movies. They're all very unique to eachother, too. The one-on-one exhibition match in the market is a straight up hand-to-hand affair, while the fight with the Ax Gang utilizes the environment and weapons throughout the whole fight (and it looks like it came out of the freaking Matrix, honestly), and the last few fights in a row are just no-holds barred affairs of crazy stuff happening. Like, holy shit. The last fight in the steel mill is possibly the best fight scene I have ever seen. It's long, it's brutal (goddamn some of those hits really look like they hurt), it's extremely well-shot and it's nice and long but not drawn out. Seriously. It's phenomenal. Jackie's physical prowess in the fight scenes is abso-fucking-lutely amazing. The man takes so much punishment while still moving like a kung-fu master guy. It's really something to behold.
I'd love to see Chan make more movies like this. He's kinda slowed down lately, what with Spy Next Door and Karate Kid coming up, but if this movie is any indication what the rest of his classics are like, I am in for a great next few weeks. Ridiculously awesome.
I thank everybody for their recommendations again, this was phenomenal.

He's what, 50? And has a hole in his head? I'm just glad he lasted as long as he did.

Goddamn, I just read that he was 40 years old when he made Drunken Master 2.
I am also very, very glad that he lasted as long as he did. Seriously pretty amazing.

Operation Condor it is! Quick question though: Wikipedia has them listed as Armour of God movies (as in, Armour of God 2: Operation Condor), while Rottentomatoes has them both listed as Operation Condor movies (as in, Operation Condor 2: Armour of God). Which one are you referring to? Or should I just watch both, (haha)?

I believe Armor of God is the subtitle for the second Operation Condor movie, like Rottentomatoes says. I recall watching those. Although I don't remember any details that would be spoiled should you watch them out of order, the two movies are related by the character Chan plays in them. So, just watch both.

Thanks. All my questions are probably starting to get annoying by now so I'll just retire to watching all of them, haha.
On another note, I think before I move on to more Chan movies I'm gonna check out Good, Bad, and The Weird. It sounds like a lot of fun, and it's got Lee Byung Hun in it so I don't think I can lose.
