Rapidshare currently sucks (again) for free-users. People, use Filespreaders! For example www.Mirrorcreator.com seems reliable from my experience. Just a general plea, not particulary aimed at an upload of this game .

Gameplay seems to be a bit similar to Eternam. Could you upload this Chinese adventure somewhere? The game is about 500 MB zipped, which means I'll have to split it and then find the time to slowly upload the parts to rapidshare. So... sometime, maybe? I've been looking high and low for this game from my childhood. If you are still able to upload Sinbad in the Lost Land, I would be eternally grateful. Also, very sorry for necroing this thread. :/

Apparently, has music by a Chinese composer named Yasunori Mitsuda. Here's the track 'Rhythm of Red' from the game. Also, here's a link to the guy's Youtube channel. He has alot of openings for Chinese games. palswd's Channel - www.youtube.com/user/palswd?feature=results_main[/quote]Yasunori Mitsuda (obviously from the name) is actually a rather famous Japanese composure. His most well known works were the soundtracks to Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, Xenosaga, and Xenoblade. As well as the, imo, perfect soundtrack that is Chrono Cross.

Discovered this Softstar game on ruten auctions at a total joke price: goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?210090650302861989 is written on the box. I wonder if this is one of the first Taiwanese PC games, if not the first? I couldn't find any info or screenshots on the net.

That looks sorta nice but I have a sneaking suspicion that there will be something completely arbitrary in the mazes/levels that will make it hard as hell to figure out what to do. Hope I'm wrong though.

That pretty damn unique to use high res graphics for the action scenes in 1990.

It's links time! 魔道子 Prince of Evil (Softstar 1993) Top-down action game in a ghost world, kinda like Kiki Kaikai / Pocky & Rocky, only not played funny. The terrain is pretty open and non-linear. I made it to the first dungeon, but never found my way through. Prince of Evil (DOS): www.mediafire.com/download/edunnim9eb0jvzn/Prince_of_Evil.rar如來金剛拳傳奇 "Saga of the Buddha's Diamond Fist"(?) (Soft World 1993) An adventure game played in the role of a Shaolin monk. Apparently has fighting sequences like the Indiana Jones adventures. Legend of Power Book (DOS): www.mediafire.com/download/tdk2iq7ztnynrg2/Legend_of_Power_Book.rar倚天屠龍記 Yi Tian Tu Long Ji / Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber (Soft World) RPG based on the martial arts TV series by the same name. The isometric quarter view was very popular with chinese RPGs in the DOS era. The interface is similar to Dragon Quest games, but the battles are more akin to Final Fantasy Tactics, at least in the 2nd game. Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber (DOS): www.mediafire.com/download/xxk054b4e62frn0/Heaven_Sword_and_Dragon_Saber.rar聖城劫Ultima Mission (Ying Yang Information, 1996)Another interestingly-looking TBS with mechas. This may have used a Chinese title in Taiwan, googling "Ultima Mission" and "Ying Yang" gives about nothing, and results for just "Ultima Mission" are full with Spider-Man crap. Ultimate Mission (DOS): www.mediafire.com/download/s3bdqgqbgd9bdr3/Ultimate_Mission.rar
