It's a fun little side-scroller from Data East - its gimmick is that the power up system is practically ripped straight from Gradius.

I have never played it but it looks pretty neat.I don't know if it's true,but I read somewhere that this game inspired Manfred Trenz when he was working on Turrican.

I was about to say, allseeingmole, the main character sprite looks a lot like the Turrican dude.

Hm, another interesting game from Data East's re-imagining of other titles. Didn't know about this one - sounds kind of neat, though.

I vaguely remembered the title (since it's so peculiar) so I dug through Mame to find it. Nice game but nothing spectacular, although it's interesting as an influence to Turrican. I noticed that one of the most bizarre enemies, which appears only once but is also used to write the highscore, is a flying little robotic hand. I wonder if they took some inspirations to make it much bigger and menacing...
