The manga is mentioned and linked under "Other Appearances", as it is more of a promo piece than anything else.

Honestly, as an Argentinian, with the mere thought of a NAZI CONCENTRATION CAMP in our country I'm not sure if I should feel proud that a developer used Argentina as a location in a game or if I should feel embarrased that they included a concentration camp. Although what happened in the last military regime over here from the late seventies until the early eighties could be similar, so maybe TRI based it on that. And I just realized that I didn't even know what the hell I was saying Anyway, I think that, out of all of the known budget publishers, Majesco was the one that did better. I mean, many other publishers (DSI Games/ZOO, Conspiracy, Destineer, etc.) had to rely on either licensed property (in the case of DSI/ZOO, games from other companies or stuff like the Harlem Globetrotters or Rock'em Sock'em Robots) or pure budget crap (Conspiracy and their releases of Data Design's recycled crap), Majesco released some cool stuff (although they did release some turds, like their flying simulations that were basically the same -and were based on Absolute's SNES game Turn and Burn- and the infamous GBA Earthworm Jim ports) and they were for one or two years the only company to release Puzzle Bobble games in the US. And what other budget publisher can say that they had a successful game series, three movies based on it and an appearance in Playboy? Also, the company that was making the PSP BloodRayne, Full Fat, were sorta known for the GBA versions of the Dave Mirra games and ports of some EA (SimCity 2000 and Freekstyle) and Namco (both Pac-Man Worlds and Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness) games. And apparently they also made the PSP version of Pirates! CART Precision Racing! MONSTER TRUCK MADNESS 2! I remember having demos of those two when I was really young. From what I can remember the CART demo froze in one of the circuits on our PC (I think it was Laguna Seca) And I didn't remember they made that Spy Hunter with The Rock. I remember seeing the trailer of it on MK Armageddon and thinking it was awesome. Then a friend of us got it (who loved the original 1983 Spy Hunter as much as we did) and it wasn't that great Also, each row could be considered as some sort of period TRI went through From top to bottom: SNKP localisations, Ghostbusters and Def Jam The Majesco stuff and some games for Midway Gathering of Developers Microsoft

I tried Bloodrayne on XP SP3, it plays fine except for one problem with the voices cutting out before the sentence is over. For example, someone will say "Pass me a soda." except I'm only getting "Pass me a" and then it goes to the next sentence. Anyone know how to fix this?
(Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask for help, but it was the HG101 article that put me onto Bloodrayne in the first place)
Does the Bloodrayne release by GOG.com have this problem?

There's no thread on gog.com complaining about it, so at least the users who bought that version so far seem to have been fine. Could be a problem with your system, though.
At any rate, if you get the game through gog.com, you can submit a support wanted thread at their community, which might be more helpful with this kind of problem.

Well, Majesco since announced a new game in the franchise. Bloodrayne: Betrayal will be a 2D sidescroller for PSN and XBLA, to be released in Summer 2011. Terminal Reality has nothing to do with it, though. It is developed by Wayforward. (Shantae, A Boy and His Blob 2009, Batman: The Brave & The Bold) Teaser Website: www.bloodraynebetrayal.com

I really want to play Nocturne, but I react badly to videogame horror (I scream like a girl and cover my eyes).
Where does this game fall in a horror scale from Resident Evil to Silent Hill?

Somewhere in between, but I think somewhere closer to Resident Evil. On a scale where 1 is RE and 10 is SH, I'd personally give it a 4.5.

Nocturne has a bit of JUMP scares but since you have a lot of weaponry and The Stranger is such an indomitable bastard it's not overly scary.

Well, seems that Bloodrayne is up for a franchise relaunch: www.bloodraynebetrayal.com/There's also a 3DS title in development. Maybe they want to test the ground and see if there's a place for a new Bloodrayne on the bigger consoles? Then again, considering the troubles that forced Majesco to abandon them, this is the *only* way they have to make new games with Rayne right now (not necessarily a bad thing, mind you).

I recently played through all the three Blair Witch games (the first one is by far the best), and something struck out to me. In Blair Witch vol. 1: Rustin Parr and Blair Witch Volume 3: The Elly Kedward Tale, you never do encounter Rustin Parr or Elly Kedward themselves, though the storyline would easily allow that. I wonder if the licensing contracts prohibited that?
