I'd take Gaia Crusaders over Sengoku 3 anyday*. I find it's setting and the characters a little more interesting than the latter. Helps that it's pretty fun in the end.
Wasn't aware of Thunder Heroes, though. Looking at it, yeah, I'll just stick with Gaia Crusaders.
I have to wonder though: What was with the giant blue "A" during the game's startup?
(*-Not that Sengoku 3 wasn't fun, too. But Gaia Crusaders was just that much cooler.)

Huh, you know, it's odd, I've had this in my M.A.M.E. roms for quite a while, and never got around to really playing it, knowing it was one of the better beat em ups out there. Never knew it had recruitable characters(not that that feature always turns out well...)
Not to derail the topic, but has anyone thought of doing an article on Denjin Makai? Latest M.A.M.E. and it's many derivatives finally play the first game, which was somewhat ported to the SFC(or SNES, however you look at it) as Ghost Chaser Densei. One of the best beat em up series ever, especially the sequel, Guardians/Denjin Makai 2.

Bombs are boring. The explosions they cause are not.

This...this wasn't by my suggestion, was it? Also, I'm pretty sure M-98 S (Yes, that's an S) is female. I mean, it has boobies. Right? And it's worth noting it seems related to Rob as well. Maybe two individuals of the same race, or maybe not. I didn't understand two licks of the plot on their website.
