What's with the random question marks in the middle of sentences? Beside that, great article.

Not bad, but I feel like L-A-L is one of those games that was so widely played in its rom-translation (like Tales of Phantasia and Seiken Densetsu 3) that everyone curious has already checked it out.

I had never heard of it aside from the bare name...which strikes me as even weirder now that I have read the article. I always thought it was supposed to be "verb-a-noun", but reading the katakana on the box shows I was wrong.

Definitely one of the best in my opinion. It's a game that hold story and ideas over gameplay, and the scope of ambition is fantastic. Practically made for my taste.
The only chapters that I think are weak are Masaru's, and Oersted's finale, which are very completely battle oriented. The rest are just different grades of greatness, in compressed form.
