hg101.kontek.net/harvester/harvester.htmThis one got a lot of press on how gory it was, but was delayed so often that it came out as adventure games were starting to lose popularity and sorta floundered. Still, while it is quite depraved in parts, there's more to it than just the gore, and it's well worth playing. Would like to see a Retsupurae of this, like the recent Dark Seed II one, since there's a lot of flatout weird stuff.

This paragraph appears in the text twice. Once as part of a larger paragraph, then again on it's own.

It may be worth noting that the whole Cherry Pie thing/weird country town has a very Twin Peaks vibe. This is more noticeable when you realize that one of the hair dresses patrons appears to be Michael J. Anderson (I don't know if he's credited on this role but I'm like 95% sure it's him).
Pretty big shame that the games overall weirdness is frustrated by the horrible combat controls. Personal favorite of mine just for being a strange little FMV game that isn't a shooting gallery.

Harvester is now on Steam.
That is a really weird thing to say, but it's true.

And the publisher is Night Dive Studios. Finally I understand what they do (originally, they seemed to have formed exclusively for the digital re-release of System Shock 2): they work to bring games that still aren't on GOG and/or Steam there.

Really? I'd be as glad as you if true. I wonder if Night Dive gets just the distribution rights from the current copyright owners or if they get full rights.

Like with Bad Mojo, I take the chance to point out that the Night Dive catalogue is again available to a bundle website: www.bundlestars.com/all-bundles/night-dive-bundle/Beside Harvester there are I Have No Mouth and System Shock 2 among others, so it's a very good package for a few bucks.
