Japan has its own distinctive style of adventure games. And yet this is an example from Sony which attempts to replicate Myst. Although only released in Japan, it's entirely in English. And it features Jack Donner!

It's difficult to show without some sort of video of the game to prove my hypothesis, but the game seems to take a lot of inspiration from Peter Greenaway's Prospero's Books released in 1993. Both are based on The Tempest and feature similar costume design for Prospero.
