...and some other character that might be somebody: The second one might be Sigourney Weaver. The first and last one seem awfully familiar, but I can't put my finger on it. Oh, and yeah, those "Flash Gordon"-pics really aren't all that similar.

Oh, and here's something interesting people may wanna search for screenshots of. Found this on TV Tropes:
"Laser Squad is guilty of this in the IBM PC version. The cutscenes exclusive to this version use trace-overs of various scenes and/or characters from The Empire Strikes Back for the Rebel Star team in the first level and the cyborgs in the second, while the team member portraits use various 1980s movie actors as facial sources - Lorenzo Lamas, Michael Biehn, Alec Baldwin, Rutger Hauer, Michael Ironside, John Hollis (who makes up the entire enemy squad in the second mission) and, surprisingly standing out from the rest of the list, Errol Flynn."
Here's a vid of the game, the rip off's are pretty obvious (they just seem to have scanned photos directly into the game)

The picture to the left of the robot looks like Sly. Blue headband picture might be Arnold as Conan.

Here's an oldish one I recently remembered and haven't seen mentioned yet, for Target: Renegade. As for Sentinel Worlds I: Future Magic up above (or rather, on the previous page now), Roger Maddox kinda made me think of Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian.

Also the Evil Dead 2 Rip off in this post from Page 6 is totally legit and could probably do with adding to the page. Heh, somehow I completely missed that... need to remember to put that in the next time I update the article. Is it? If its a magazine using the art from the game, they probably had permission from the publisher. Unless both are stolen from somewhere else. But where?

Yeah, a German mag and a German publisher/developer, so it's probably not stolen. Also, the other "stolen image" in the quoted post doesn't seem anymore legit than that. Both are giant rats, which obviously have to share some common features (like, you know, being large, furry, and so on), but don't appear all that similar otherwise.

But where?[/quote] Oh, I assumed it was the video game that stole the Alien art from the magazine cover, rather than the other way round. But if that's not the case, then yeah it's bogus. Also yeah I knew the rat thing was just similar and nowhere near "tracing" level.

looks like Boris Vallejo's National Lampoon's Vacation artwork. Apparently it's a spoof of Frazetta's work and the Michael Hussar Army of Darkness image is a spoof of the Vacation art. Also, this image from the Snatcher thread looks like Arnold:

I can't believe it. I can't believe it.
Video games tracing the National Lampoon's Vacation poster.
I CAN'T believe it. This is the best rip off of all.
