The characters from Final Mission/S.C.A.T./Action In New York are quite obviously Schwarzenegger/Sigourney Weaver expys. Actually just SCAT/AiNY. Final Mission has a different intro and does not have the character select menu, so I don't think we actually see the characters' faces in that version. I was surprised the left the names in the Virtual Console version of SCAT (AiNY changed them). Though they did do something about the flicker used as a transparency effect to print their bio text over the portraits. (Surprised they said Sigourney (the character) was from Canada, when wasn't she actually from NY? )

I'm pretty sure Sigourney Weaver as seen in Alien/Aliens also appears in the japanese PC-98 game Zeta. Edward Scissorhands appears in the VN Welcome To the Cinemahouse

Another For Your Eyes Only homage, in The Space Adventure/Cobra II: Densetsu no Otoko: Also, I kept forgetting to bring it up, but this one should probably be in the Artists page, because it's obviously an Andy Warhol print (it even has his name on it): There is also a Monroe in Snatcher: Typos on page 2: If Should be skeleton, disguise

Not sure if this would fit, but I just saw the cover for the SNES title King Arthur's World, and the illustration definitely has an M.C. Escher vibe to it. The Japanese version's cover might have something too.

This was already covered in page 2, but I think Labyrinth of Time was inspired by another painting of M.C. Escher. From www.flyingomelette.com/drakkhen/oddities.htmlDrakkhen enemy vs. Henri Matisse painting One last thing, a small typo in page 2 Caldwell.
