The GOG release of Prisoner of Ice has the brand I-motion: the Infogrames armadillo is the same, as is the I, but the "-motion" is evidently and lousily edited on the original logo. I was unfamiliar with such brand and so I found out that it was used by Infogrames in North America for several releases through the 1990s. Apparently Infogrames had problems in making their name known overseas, or at least they thought their brand wasn't very marketable there, and it was one of the reasons they ultimately got the Atari brand and made it their own.

Now both games are available on Steam. I wish they were on Humble Store too, like many other games (if anything because there you get a Steam key + a DRM free copy in many cases, best of both worlds).

Does anyone know if there is anything special about the Prima strategy guide for Prisoner of Ice? I've been getting into collecting old strategy guides and on a whim listed them by price on Amazon (US), and found a used copy on the marketplace selling for over $5000!
Of course, there's a lot of wonkiness when it comes to Amazon sales, but all other places where the book was being sold were between $700 - $1000, including sellers from Amazon UK! So, I'm really interested to know how this Prima guide came to be so valuable.
