How has Bravely Default: For the Sequel not been immediately entered as a stupid title?

I still think Fatal Frame is a terrible, terrible name for a game. Project Zero wasn't much better but man - Fatal Frame? Not far removed from; Ghostly Gallery, Phantom Photo, Spooky Snapshot or Poltergeist Polaroid

I like Metal Gear Solid. It never came across as dumb to me. It just sounded neat to me. But that may be due to hearing it at a certain time in my life. It's why I think Legend of... is not at all a played out title trope. And yes I realize at this rate Konami and Kojima are going to legally start owing me money...

I'm more annoyed by how the series is now called Metal Gear Solid, when it used to be just Metal Gear.

oh god what does that make metal gear rising revengeance
does that require a TV whose pixels actually pop inward and outward based on perceived depth of objects

Ninja Gaiden - Complete gibberish in Japanese. I think it might had been done intentionally with the arcade game, since that version seems like a pastiche of low budget ninja flicks and was probably made with the overseas market in mind, but it doesn't fit with the serious tone of the NES trilogy or even with the later Team Ninja series. If they needed a localized title badly, I wish they would've simply went with "Ninja Ryu: The Dragon Sword Story", which was the title used for the LD release of the anime. malkavanimes.blogspot.com/2013/07/ninja-gaiden.htmlGenma Onimusha - This was the title of the Xbox port for the first game, but it doesn't make much sense since the Onimusha are the race of warriors that Samanosuke belongs to and the Genma are the enemies in the game. Renny Blaster - It sounds like some sort of shoot-'em-up, but it's really a mediocre Castlevania clone for the PC Engine. I'm not sure what a "Renny" is supposed (that guy from The Simpsons). Castlevania - The only reason we take the title seriously is because we're used to it by now. "Vampire Killer" sounds cooler, but I'm guessing that was too violent for Nintendo's sensibilities.

I'm gonna change my sig to FUCK KONAMI. Even Capcom did not mock me that way. (what a great 4 hours, but still. Buy Vanquish. A favorite idiotic name of mine is SEGA's "Alien Storm". What? Aliens are Rolling thunder now? Stupid, but SEGA. And one really impressive soundrack. Now that's a good theme for an alien invasion. Shame the game wasn't loved. Pretty unsettling tune here.

I found MGR to be pretty adequate in length. Then again, I played it on Hard and always restarted a chapter every time I died.

I found MGR to be pretty adequate in length. Then again, I played it on Hard and always restarted a chapter every time I died. Not wrong. But still. Starting with destroying a Rex shoud have been the apotheosis. Not the start. Bah... I still ike the game, repetitive warehouses and all. For me it's Platinum's most fun game yet. (Vanquish is for an old thread nowadays...)... and the one with the exhibitionist librarian/witch let me really cold. Hope the Wiiu's sequel excites me more.... (it won't because she's ugly!)
