Hell yes! I'm still waiting for an enterprising group of translators to redo the localization, but if anyone wants to give this game a shot and doesn't feel like outright pirating it, it's available on Amazon for a mere $10. It's no Steam, but their digital distribution service is pretty a-ok.

Yeah, I've been eyeing the game for a while. Probably opting for the Russian version, since the English translation is supposedly pretty awful.

Excellent work! Glad to see this game on the site! On page one, Sketcz mentions the Rock Paper Shotgun article that was three parts. This should definitely be added to this article. It's a great read as well. Part 1Part 2Part 3

Well, it encouraged me to get the game, but it SPOILS the game, rather badly. And has some errors in it.
I'd actually encourage anyone curious about the game not to read the RPS article until after playing it.
Raziel, are you a Russian speaker? Because you definitely want to be able to understand some of what's being said. If you are, then you're in for a treat, and can enjoy it as it was intended. If not, the English version has its own peculier charm.

I tried this awhile ago and now I bring it up when someone asks me what the scariest game I've ever played is. I had to quit playing.

Butchered translations are a plus for me, and this sounds unique overall. I'm gonna give it a try.

Indeed, it also features in the article. Here's one I took earlier: That bit kinda blew my mind. I'm not sure I even fully understood it.

I was completely engrossed in Pathologic for awhile. Then I beat it.
The ending is a complete and total cop-out.

Which one do you mean? One of the 3 character endings? The 4th bad ending? The first secret ending? Or the second secret ending?
The bad and 3 main endings are indeed a bit rubbish. As is the second secret ending. The first secret ending though - blew my mind. The one where you... take that leap of faith? Oh wow.

Quite a selling job in this article.
By the way, the game is on GamersGate as well. (The article mentions Direct2Drive, which is GameFly now – but it is also still available there.) GamersGate does have ridiculous sales on occasion.
