Someone mentioned Mystic Nights for the PS2 a ways back. Chris of Chris's Survival Horror Quest just managed to snag a copy in Seoul a couple of months ago. Link - horror.dreamdawn.com/Anyone know much about this game? I've seen a couple of screenshots and even a LP on youtube, but there doesn't seem to be any info one what the game's story is actually about. I played through it last year, here's my short summary: hg101.proboards.com/user/3175/recent?q=mystic

Mystic Nights (PS2) I sort of understand now, why it's been released only in Korea and stayed there. It feels a bit "dry", lacks polish in places and the whole experience reminds me about Resident Evil Survivor series, but it still has its own unique atmosphere going for it(looks & sounds Ok, with some gruesome enemies and busty chicks added into the mix). I guess Sony decided not to bother anyway . Movement and aiming is specific to a degree..i dunno - people get used to things. It's an interesting title and i always wanted to try this. Too bad about the story--for the non-Korean speakers like myself, it truly is a mystery.

Hope these gonna have any relevance, since the thread is not exactly new: Covert Ops: Nuclear Dawn (PSX)- Resident Evil on the train. You get to fight 'shooty' terrorists instead of zombies tho; Cold Fear (Multi)-the overall ambience of the game reminds me of the 1st RE Revelations a lot; Mystic Nights (PS2)-apparently released only in South Korea.I barely touched it,but the first impression i've got: it's entirely 3rd person Resident Evil:Dead Aim lookalike without first person shooting bits; Banned Memories: Yamanashi-unfortunately i can't say much about it at all, other than it's still in 'Early Access' and aims for original Silent Hill look & feel; Daymare: 1998--this one's from folks who didn't have much luck with Resident Evil 2 Fan Remake. The Kickstarter campaign has been canceled literally hours ago ,but they said, they won't be givin' up on it just yet !
