Share here songs that belong to well-regarded soundtracks, yet tend to be largely forgotten. Two examples from me: From the same game that brought us these... ...there's this:
So sad...farewell days that will never return. Bright days of our childhood... *single tear rolls down eye* And from the same game that brought us this... ...there's this:
Ignore the title; this belongs to the second part of the last level (Buttville). but anyhow, back to the song, it's not hard to understand why this one gets forgotten. Just listen to the song above; in-game it immediately precedes this one.

I had actually heard the music to the space cadet pinball table (out of Full Tilt!) long before I'd ever played EWJ, and I have to say the second song is much more interesting and worthy of note to me, if only because the Use Your Head music lacked any separate identity from the music from that table.
Anyway, not sure why the sound quality on this'n is so bad, but here you go:
Fuck Wily Stage 1's music. That shit is the Requiem for a Dream of VG songs, and we'd all be much better off if people would stop covering it.

Screw you, Challenger 1985, my heart will always lie with Free Flyer <3
Also yes, I do like the NES version more than the ARC version (actually the only one I like the Arcade version of more is Beginning of the History....)

I always really liked this song in the first Halo. It was called "Lost Song" for a long time because it never got put on an official soundtrack until Halo Anniversary; it's called Arborea Above on that one. I just really liked the mostly ambient, but mysterious vibe it gives off.

Has a very different tone compared to the music of the rest of the game; while I don't dislike it, it's hard to stand it up next to most of the other music in the game. However, the huge departure from the style of the rest of the game also means it's -- on its own -- probably the most interesting song in the game.
