I really would like to appreciate this series more, I definitely respect the concept and enjoy the design, but for some reason my muscle memory outright rejects absorbing the way it controls and I continue to suck at it despite several notable attempts to become better at it. There's no other game that conveys the feeling of stretchy wire more convincingly though, for whatever that's worth.
As for it appearing on the 3DS, well, regionlock, and such.

A US release has been confirmed if you didn't get that. So region locks shouldn't be a problem unless you bought a European 3DS and why would you do that?

These games are a definitely a love/hate thing for me. There's something about the fiddly controls/physics that can cause serious levels of frustration. They are fun sometimes, but I found this game to be much more enjoyable just because it's far easier to control:

A US release has been confirmed if you didn't get that. So region locks shouldn't be a problem unless you bought a European 3DS and why would you do that? Is this even going to be a retail release in the US? I was thinking download, which would also make a European release more likely. Btw, are there any particular benefits from owning an american 3DS over a european one? Apart from selected games getting earlier releases (which you can never be sure of because, well, Bravely Default for example. Or, dunno, Professor Layton. And most likely Inazuma Eleven). Also, I can't think of any notable 3DS game that was released in the US but not here, but I may be wrong...? Now, if the original DS had been region locked things would've been different - I would've definitely been forced to buy an american one cause there were so many great games that completely skipped Europe. But as far as the european 3DS go, I'm pretty happy. Dragon Quest 7 could potentially change that though...

Having to wait longer for the occasional game beats having to wait longer for practically every game.
Add cheaper prices and that Aksys, Atlus and XSeed are probably going to be releasing tons of awesome games for the 3DS and they still have very little European presence...
I expect quite a few digital only releases in Europe.

Well, you're probably right. Thankfully I don't mind waiting. Besides, I rarely buy games on launch anyway, so it doesn't matter. Though the niche publisher thing is very true, can't argue with that. I just realised I was really disappointed that Code of Princess was download only. I had forgotten about that one. Although we do have Rising Star Games and Ghostlight. They're pretty good at picking up whatever XSeed or Atlus releases in the US... The most off-putting thing about buying an american 3DS is that I would be stuck importing ALL my games, which in the end would probably make my games cost more (shipping etcetera). I guess the bottom line is always this: Region locking flat out sucks.

Nintendo is the only first-party company adhering to region-locking now; I really wish they would drop it as well.

Well, since this is going eShop only, and since it's published in the US by Natsume (which Rising Star Games seems to like), I think there's a pretty good possibility that it's coming to Europe as well. Crossing fingers now.

This is a series I keep putting off buying. Have no excuse now, probably import the DS game sometime. I only played the Super Famicom original.

The price is perfect, I don't want to pay more than that on eshop. I don't believe they've actually announced the price?

I'm really looking forward to this hitting the US eShop. I love the first two UK games so much.
