Anyone gonna buy this when it comes out for the Gameboy Advance? It sounds interesting, and was made by the same people who made Riviera. It's scheduled for a release in the U.S. sometime in november.

It was released in Japan two years ago or whenever. AWESOME game. Sting, who developed this game, also made Treasure Hunter G.

Yeah, it's already out in Japan. I was going to buy it until I heard that it may be slated for a U.S. release by Atlus. If it doesn't get released in the U.S., I'll just import it. For some reason, I have a fascination with Atlus titles...I can't really explain it...

I've had the Japanese ROM since it came out but never bothered to try it. I'm definitely waiting for the English release. What's the date on it?
I may have mentioned this before, but I'd love to do a Sting article, even though that means I'd need to play the Evolution games. Which I've heard are not so great.

Right now GameFAQs has the US release listed as 11/14 or so. I don't believe it until it actually comes out

Ah...the Evolution games... Well, they aren't great, but they aren't flat out terrible and I'm kind of addicted to the whole "randomly generated" concept (In this case being the dungeons, items, etc.). The game was one of the first Dreamcast Rpgs, so it's somewhat forgivable. The dialouge is kinda humorous, and you gotta like cliched characters like "Ms. Melon" (can you guess why she's called that? ). The game was decent in itself, but the sequel E2: Far Off Promise was disappointing to me because it didn't really fix any of the problems with the first game. It just gave you a tiny bit more stuff and one extra character. The gamecube version (Evolution Worlds) is a compressed version of part 1 and 2, so it leaves out some minor details and stuff that you may want from the games individually. The interesting thing about EW (and one of the few notable changes) is that it has English voiceovers as opposed to the Japanese voices used in the original games. The only one I can't really comment on is the game for NGPC. The games are cheap though (minus the NGPC one), so you don't have to worry too much should you decide to play them and include them in your Sting article.
