I just saw a trailer on youtube.com about banjo-kazooie 3 (not banjo-threeie) Obviously the first thing you will notice is that they changed Banjo and Kazooie drasticly. Banjo looks more blocky, and kazooie looks skinnier. From the looks from the trailer it has all the good stuff from the first and second one, Puzzle Peices, Honey Combs, and Music Notes. Yeah a lot of people call Banjo-Kazooie games a Mario64 ripoff, and complain about how it has too many collectable, but you know I never had a problem with all of that. But one thing that every one will admit is that is has some of the best music in a N64 game. Well heres the trailer, Enjoy www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePgIGmYv-sY

More like, the future of mediocre sequels I liked the first one but didn't like the second one. The thing I'm going to be loving about this is no ugly fog

I liked the second one because you could be a Van and a washing Machine. Seriously HOW many games can you be a washing machine? Lol I just cant wait to see what Rare has in store for us on this game.

Personally, since there's absolutely no gameplay footage whatsoever I call bleh on this trailer, never was really into B&K. I'll wait till they preview a game before coming to a decision on 3.

Banjo was the reason I stopped playing platformers made by Rare. Here! Go collect a ton of these meaningless items! Done with that? Great! Collect these really hard to find items!
...No thanks.

The meaningless item thing never bothered me. I would personaly love it if rare made a Jet Force Gemeni for 360 or even ported it to the DS with Wi-fi, but that may never happen.

don't mean to go too far OT but anyone remember that ole Silicon Valley game on N64? I remember playing it in 99 or so, and although I only had 30 minutes with it (was at my cousin's house) it seemed like a classic guilty pleasure type.

Space Station Silicon Valley is one of the greatest games ever made...A puzzler and a platformer while retaining huge amounts of playability. Working out how to posses those damn robot animals was half the game.
I'd much rather see a new SSSV or JFG before Banjo....3 something or rather...pickup stuff.

I couldnt stomach more than an hour of JFG and Donkey Kong 64 after prolonged time with Banjo Kazooie. It wasn't until about 2000 or so that I realised just how much I hated Rares games :\

I like Banjo & Kazooie, but the game is so long that I never bothered playing the sequel...not that it's a bad game or anything. As for part 3, I just hope it doesn't end up like Conker did for X-Box. It was okay, but...it hampered some of the best parts that made the N64 game fun to me.
I loved Silicon Valley.

Hah, DK64 did that for me. I kinda liked Banjo actually, but DK 64 took everything good about BK and made it unnecessarily long and incredibly boring. Too bad, I haven't been able to touch a 3D character based platformer since(with the exception of Mario Sunshine).

I've pretty much lost my faith in Rare since DK64, to be honest. Most of the good Rare employees already jumped ship to start Free Radical, and all the better for them. At least they aren't pushing out stuff like Viva Pinata (which, might I add, looks extraordinarily cheesy).

...Or Grabbed by the Ghoulies. Man, the people at Microsoft got screwed on that deal, didn't they?
