Hey, by the way, I never really gave it much of a thought, but is GARAGE text-heavy? I was wondering if it's necessary to have an advanced knowledge of Japanese to truly enjoy the game, or if it relied more on "universal" storytelling, such as using visuals or minimalist dialogues. personaly I think that there is an underlying story to it that we won't be able to understand without knowing the language. From the excerpts of the videos I've seen I can understand This much about garage without having to read any of the Japanese. Other than that, I am unsure of any other plot points of the game. it is very artistic in nature, and I don't think much of an explanation will be had in the textposts. but if anyone has any other observations about the game to provide, please feel free to do so! EDIT: At Dycaite's request, all possible "spoilers" have been redacted. In my defense, I felt that everything I said consisted of gameplay mechanics, and things which would be apparent from the first two video's of a playthrough. Seriously though, am I actualy spoiling that much by talking about what the game "consists" of? The plot is still going to be something foreign and unknown. |

Edit: You didn't have to remove them legofan94, I was only being half serious  and yeah, if they were only from the first two videos then I wouldn't consider them spoilers either; I just figured that you might have watched the whole playthrough and wanted to avoid having any major plot points spoiled. |

OK i have come to another conclusion. I think overall it is my responsibility to be responsible with my own money, and the chance that someone was bidding just to inflate the price is just as likely to wanting to bid on it for himself. If he was a complete troll he would have bid 1 yen under for without certain not winning the auction, maybe he dun goofed. I don't know but its my choice what i want to do with my own money. Either way I still feel a little vulnerable, and am now open to pledges to fund me in buying stress balls as this has taken quite a toll on me. fundrazr.com/campaigns/6hkY5/ab/52qLNbI think this is fair. |

Once this is out and if anyone gets the script out of it, I'd volunteer to translate. Wouldn't mind being behind this. Only just learned of the game a couple days ago and the whole atmosphere it creates is pretty interesting. I go by SteveMartin on the romhacking.net forums and have done a few translations before. Maybe some other people already got this covered but if not, let me know  |

Maybe some other people already got this covered but if not, let me know :) I normally would get a freelancer to do it in an almost military fashion and use english skills to smoothen it out. If it is possible to translate/edit, I would be interested in some help for sure. |

Checked the video out. Too bad the text is too small to make out. I don't want to see too much so as to not spoil everything. But yeah, I can't explain it but I definitely want to help get this thing out there for an English speaking audience. Will keep an eye on this topic! |
