Looking at screenshots, I can see why you would say that. However I don't think it actually is. I can't find any screenshots that match, and also the graphic difference seems big: Kolibri's 32x graphics to the more Genesis/PC 98 graphics of the screenshot. Woops, ninja'd a little bit  |

That second game is Dragon Wars. Don't ask me which version, because it doesn't look anything like the DOS/C64/Amiga versions. I can just tell because the first area of DW is called Purgatory, and the HUD is the same. It doesn't have a command line, either.  |

That's indeed Carbuncle from the Madou Monogatari and Puyo Puyo series, except he's white for some reason (damn you, Noirlac!). The original source seems to come from the Compile logo of one of the Madou Monogatari games (at least the PC98 version of Madou Monogatari: ARS). |

It helped me find this exact match:  That pic is from Puyo Puyo for pc 98, but the same logo is on the MadÅ Monogatari 1-2-3 page on Mobygames, which claims that is the first game it was in. So that's the game! And yeah, that's gotta be Skeleton T. But as for what game it's from. Nooo idea. |
