My friend sazanmaga is trying to run MML2 (megaman legends 2) on EPSXE or whatever it's called. But the .rar he downloaded doesn't contain any Image files, it contains a .CCD .CUE and .SUB None of which are supported by ePSXe as images.

OnAverageJoe suggests looking at the total file size, and if it's a triple-digit number with an MB after it, then SazinMaga has a real thing, otherwise, it'd be a fake and SazinMaga should be ashamed of himself. If, however, it's the real thing, OnAverageJoe suggests using a better image booting program such as Alchohol 52% or Dæmon Tools, and then booting that using the "boot from CD" option. OnAverageJoe would also like to ask why SazinMaga hadn't tried the game before, as it really is excellent, he adds.

My roomate sazinmaga says it works now, and thanks. He says he never tried the game before because he could never find it!

OnAverageJoe suggests looking in emuparadise.org, as they have some rare PSX images and a great torrent tracker.

SazanMaga says the game now works, but there is no sound and he cannot skip the first cutscene after the capcom logo

OnAverageJoe would like to ask if SazinMaga activated the correct sound thingeys on the main thingey, but he doesn't know why SazinMaga can't skip the cutscene.

I figured out why I couldn't skip the cutscene (I was pressing "Backspace" when the start button was mapped to "Delete") But I still cant hear anyone in the cutscenes

MildFerret would like to ask what size Sazanmaga's CCD/CUE/SUB files are - if the total isn't in the neighborhood of 500 megabytes or higher, then his copy of the game is a "ripped" version that lacks the files for speech and cutscene audio, and that he should find another copy.

My other roomate from down the hall, Mazingerlegend helped SazinMaga configure the right Audio plugins because he's dumb. But mazingerLegend wants to know what're some good PSX games?

OnAverageJoe recommends the classics: Air Combat and its sequel, Crash Bandicoot, Worms, WipeOut XL (AKA 2097 in the EU), Resident Evil, Megaman X4, X5 and 8 (he recommends getting a ripped version of the latter, as the cutscenes can be either painful or hilarious), Lunar and Tales of Destiny and Eternia

Not a fan of worms or crash bandicoot and dont like wipeout. I've got resident evil and all of the megaman gams Irl. I guess I can check out some good ones, But what are the under dogs? I know Ungra walker is a nifty and pretty for PS1 age GFx gauntlet clone

Are you sure you don't like WipeOut? The first game was crap, I admit, but the second one really did it right to the point that none of the sequels actually did better.
