RIP Pele, the greatest. ![]() ![]() Not a soccer fan in general but he was a living legend, a great man, and will sorely be missed. The end of 2022 was a carnage however and several other important people passed away around the same time: former Pope Benedict XVI, Italian director Ruggero "Cannibal Holocaust" Deodato, famed punk fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, journalist Barbara Walters and Japanese architect Arata Isozaki.
Yesterday another football player sadly passed away because of cancer, Italy's Gianluca Vialli. He was 58. He's remembered as a great player as well as a gentleman, a good coach and never was above making fun of himself and his job among all those players seeing themselves as kings. Today also Earl Boen passed away, because of cancer too, he was an actor in the Terminator saga but he is mostly remembered for being LeChuck's voice actor in Monkey Island.

Wow, I looked at Arata Isozaki's works. I didn't realize he designed the Museum of Contemporary Art, here in downtown Los Angeles. RIP to Victoria Lee (right) , champion MMA fighter. Only 18, too early, too young.  Lisa Marie Presley. RIP.
