I am very happy about this news. I haven't played Valkyria Chronicles in like five years, so this might be as good a time as any to get back into it. I'm also happy about this because I wanted to get my sister and her boyfriend to check it out, but their PS3 broke a long time ago, so now they can finally play it

Well this is good news. Hopefully they do a decent job porting the game, because I wouldn't mind playing Valkyria Chronicles again.

Sega is a pretty well regarded PC publisher, I wouldn't worry too much about this being a Final Fantasy XIII-level PC port.

the same company released Sonic Adventure two times for the PC. And for no other reason than pure shoddyness, the system requirements of the DC collection's port are horrendous compared to the old port of SADX. Though still pretty cool news. Let's hope the more PC-savvy part of Sega will be responsible for this

The Dreamcast Collection was recently updated and is seemingly still being worked on.

Yeah. It took them two years, but now my PS controller finally works with the game.
Sonic Adventure is in way different league compared to recent computer games with Sega's logo though, including their own games like Sonic Generations. Pretty sure they can handle this one well enough.

Oh, they updated Sonic Adventure DX on Steam recently. I had no idea! I beat the game 100% about a year ago and have since forgotten about it. Nowadays it has Steam achievements which I'm a sucker for. Hopefully at least some of them are unlocked by just loading up my previous save. I really don't want to collect all those frigging emblems again or go through any of the boring Chao stuff.
// As for Valkyria Chronicles coming to PC: That's a very cool move by SEGA. I've always been intrigued by that game when I first saw my little sister playing it on her PS3. Never would have realized that it would eventually be released on PC. (:

1080p (and higher) and 60 FPS confirmed (higher framerates not confirmed. I want my 120 FPS). System specs also indicate good port, recommended:
OS: Windows 7 Processor: Intel Core2 Duo @ 2.8GHz (or equivalent) Memory: 2 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 (or equivalent) Hard Drive: 25 GB available space

(: If Steam Achivements work anything like their console cousins, you'll have to do it all over again. MGS4 didn't recognize my clear file on The Boss Extreme when Trophies were finally added in 2012.

This is very good news. Maybe Valkyria Chronicles 2 can come to PC as well? I would be so excited for that since I never owned a PSP. And... hopefully 3 can come over/be officially translated? Oh I am so happy right now
