Call me what you will, I find something far more satisfying in decapitating your opponent in battle rather then having them fall to the ground followed by some form of 'you win' message. I was wondering whether many people here knew of more obscure violent games (not neccesarily violent for the point of being like Manhunt, but also just kind of there (like in Warriors of Fate or Last Blade).
Here's a bunch I know of other then the afformentioned ones
Biofreaks Mortal Kombat Postal series Survival Arts (*shiver*) Bloodstorm Resident Evil AlienVsPredator (PC games) Solider of Fortune series Shadow of Rome Conkers Bad Fur Day Jet Force Gemini Gears of War The Immortal
I'm certain I know more but those are the ones I remember, any suggestions? Preferably games that aren't terrible and use violence as an excuse to exist (Survival Arts!).
Also I once played a game (possibly from my list but unlikely) that if you hit an enemy in the stomach they could double over and throw up..quite twisted but I thought it was rather appropiate since I definately recall the hit being of a kind that would make me do the same, super bonus points for anyone who can name that one.

You probably know of it (or blocked it out of your memory bank) but since you did put down Bloodstorm...
TIME KILLERS
The arcade version I recall being a guilty pleasure. the GEN port, a total POS

Weaponlord for SNES and Genesis. It is a fighting game with customizable fatalities.

BLOOD on the PC is a nice one and fitting of its title. Came out in the late 90s circa 98 or so. Pretty creepy FPS

Oh, yeah Blood is a favorite of mine. It's probably my favorite first person shooter... most of the levels are themed (for example, an amusement park, a haunted hotel, etc) which makes them so much more interesting to explore... and they often lead from one to another. The CD version of the game is excellent because it's got a really good soundtrack.

Smash TV, Total Carnage, and NARC all fall into the excessively violent Midway arcade games category. Even NES version of NARC was the most violent that I can remember from that era with limbs and blood flying everywhere.

I have to say San Andreas- I mean all the GTA games are predictably violent but being able to beat someone to death with a phallus seems really, really low... I'll put in Killer 7 as a sorta strange one- you use all the blood you blow out of people to power yourself up and keep yourself alive - all sorts of crazy stuff goes on in that game god bless it! OOh! I forgot Vandal Hearts! Ever kill anyone in that game?! *pssshsh* goes the blood out of them in a big jet! Reminds me of the pit scene in Army of Darkness

With the mention of GTA you can't forget about Manhunt. The game's atmosphere still creeps me out...

OMGWTFBBQFISHSTICKS Wait, so you can whip out your manlies and slap your enemies to death with it? Or are you referring to some kind of gigantic dildo?

Personally, I think Samurai Shodown can be quite violent. Except for the first SS5 (the not Special one) and SS: Tenka, your enemies can be cleaved right in half! SS4 furthered the concept with fatalities, and SS5S had some pretty brutal ones (Basara and Kusaregedo, especially). Quite a lot o' blood that doesn't go too over the top, but still a sufficient amount.

The first time I seen it done it was someone beating a GRANNY to death with it... Who is worse? The programmers for giving you the ability to do that or the person who actually thinks to do it?
